Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | hey!! SLOW DOWN A BIT. What you are doing isn't guessing, it's tossing mud against the wall hoping some will get stuck. One of the guesses is right, now which one is RIGHT, not luck.

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | You went with one and right you were, now let's figure out what the Hagers have to do with Wisconsin and the answer to the E-cell hunt....... here's your next clue, kick it, don't punt: The Hagers fish muskies every almost every year, they used to fish them with Dick Rose in Vilas when Dick was still here; what could the Hagers have to do with this all, just find me a link, and make the right call!

Posts: 20 | http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=15... Actually, you are right, I did take out one of the Hager Twins from Hee Haw, and he did catch a muskie. Forgot about that one. I see those guys inj Boulder Junction every once in awhile, they are still fishing Muskies.

Location: Minnesota | Hey sworrall, didn't you guide one of the Hager twins from Hee Haw? I remember that you and SteveQ each had one in your boat on the Eagle River Chain in the late 80s and one of them caught a 36"er, but can't remember which. I'm betting it was the one with SteveQ, lol. - Gerard

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Yes I did, and yes we caught a fish. Don't remember how big, but it was a legal. You are dating yourself sir, and Gerard wasn't onto anything more now than there! I'll give you another clue, were looking for an association; it won't be anything on any O.F. Website or location.

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Very GOOD, you nailed that one, now we begin to have some REAL fun. Hager City is what you need, now let's giove some clues, plant the seed... Where in Wisconsin is that now famous place, and what relevance could it have in this time and space?

| Fairbairn is the 2006 Ironman of Walleye Fishing Walleye First Published October 26, 2006 Scott Fairbairn at Bismarck In the sport of professional walleye fishing in 2006, Scott Fairbairn of Hager City, WI stands alone at the top of the heap. Fairbairn was one of eight anglers to compete in all three pro-level circuits in 2006; the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Tour Regional Division, the PWT Super Pro Division, and FLW Walleye Tour. The Ironman competition pits those eight anglers against each other in a points race of all points races, an all out competition of walleye-fishing endurance consisting of travel, scheduling, time on the water and ultimately, performance across every single tournament that pro walleye fishing has to offer. | |||
