Posts: 1438 | Seems as though from this thread others have fled. They know not where with these clues they will be led. Oh Riddler I ask why is it so in the anguish of others you bask with a glow?? My guess to bring this to the top is the thread showing the DDD in a bucks chop. Could it be that, you refer to the "hunt" and that "not in the air" refers to the ground. This behemoth was well grounded I'm sure. http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=17... If this isn't correct, let me know. I'll guess again if not just for show. Scott

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Ghoti and Theedz, pure genius. They were on site now they are not. Gotta be the New London pool Demos. I even remember Steve Worrall running some suicks on them, maybe the ones with red hooks? Edited by nwild 11/2/2004 11:44 AM

Posts: 259 Location: Alexandria, MN | Tri Esox Productions? Or the pool itself "Lake Tri-Esox" The group that runs the Chicago show. It the first show (Primary) of the year. Triple D (Tri) , Esox Angler (Esox) . I feel good about this guess. Edited by Fish-n-Freak 11/5/2004 9:46 AM

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Theedz, you are so close you almost won a hat with your last guess , very near; if you had guessed right you would have but didn't, I fear. Take a look at the 'lite' post, then line up the thread, in this case 'lite' doesn't mean less lead. We search for the big prize item, it's two this time not one, the Riddler promises this to be interesting and fun. But! Not easy. Not easy at all.

Posts: 1438 | OK, I guess yet again. Our first real "look" without actually seeing the bait was jlongs vivid description of the DDD posted 11-16-02: Anyway, the lure that people are talking about is called the TripleD. It got its name from Dynamic Deep Diver... a phrase I coined a few years ago to refer to some of my old tinkered up crankbaits. The construction of this lure is unique and will definitely set a new standard for plastic lures. What is cool about this bait is it has split personalities... and I describe it as a "Jerkbait in Disguise". Combining near neutral bouyancy and a little engineering..... the lure can be worked in an erratic fashion with minimal effort. No more double pumping cranks and a sore shoulder at the end of the day! Later, in the post, they started talking about the Purkinje Shift, which is the shift of vision from rod vision to cone vision due to the shift in light ['lite']. Also in the same post was originally a "black and white CAD image" of the DDD that has since been removed. It once was there, now it is not???? Steve, I can picture you at the computer. I've been there, I know. Where the the road lead, with caution we must proceed. Nowhere near to the end are we I bet. No not quite, not just yet!! PS Steve, you can wipe that #*#* eating grin off your face too....... Scott Edited by theedz155 11/8/2004 6:11 AM

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | If once there was just three and you were trying to see what the Riddler meant by Lite then you just maybe MIGHT look at the correct answer from the last, then go not so far into the past to get this one done and start the trip to the ONE! (actually, two)

Posts: 393 Location: Kawarthas, Ontario | It wouldn't be the Milwaukee Musky Expo would it? Never having been to either (653 miles is a bit of a distance), I'm only guessing that the Milwaukee show is smaller - hence lighter?

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | The DD is lite one D from the triple? What was once three is now two. It is from the last answer. Please be right!! Could it be the DD from ERC? Edited by nwild 11/9/2004 7:51 AM
