Please God (jehovah, allah, buddah, muhammed, jesus, great spirit, flying spaghetti monster, etc. etc.), make it warmer. Melt the ice. Open the waters and allow the fisherman of this community to attempt to lure your bounty into eating facsimiles of your creations so that we may discuss our successes and failures.
We can discuss how to catch fish. We can discuss what to you to do it. We can talk about where to go and what to use when we get there. People can show pics of what they caught, then others can then say the fish were not that size. People can get new boats, others can say those boats are not worthy, but then will say why their boat is the place.
God (and the rest), you know you love muskie fisherman, so please make it warm again.
Then we can get back to talking about fishing that occurred in the last 50 years and stop the insanity.
Any true Christian should be appalled by the fact that you just included Jesus in a list of false deities that include "the spaghetti monster". You're walking on thin ice homie! |

If you're going to stay on this site, you should probably learn either to have a sense of humor or learn to not take everything as a jab directly at you. I'm sorry if I offended you with my off-color humor, but in reality I was trying to be inclusive to EVERYONE on this site.
Now that you have basically taken a funny post and made it a serious argument (thusly missing the intent of this thread entirely), I will tell you why if I had this thread to do over again, I would actually NOT change the content of the post (though I might have made more funny comments): this site is for everyone. For Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhits, Agnostics and yes, even Pastafarrians. We will not tolerate negative comments towards any of these groups. Nor will we tolerate racist, sexist or comments about people's various lifestyle choices. We DO have visitors to this site that are of all these different backgrounds and they will NOT be discriminated against.
This is not, nor will it ever be a Christian Website, or a Jewish one...or a Pastafarian website. If that is not ok with you, then other choices of sites are just a click away. |

I would have received no end of alerts and complaints, we are in the middle of a Bass Elite on BassFIRST.com causing me to invest much time in social media updates, I have the Cap City Muskie school tomorrow, and the New London show Sunday. And, I have a bad case of gas. Or good, depending on perspective.
I won't miss him for a little vacation, and he'll be back eventually anyhow. Not that hard to figure out. |
