| Pretty much rules out Jeramiah was a bullfrog...and ONE is the loneliest number that you'll ever see...w/ no woods involved, a remote possibility w/ Ahab, the Arab, sheik of the burning sands...there is a distinct possibility I'm worse off than originally thought.... Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | All clues point to the answer, and the answer is not one, but two. Sponge, in this case 1 IS a lonely number.
Some help. WHat is under a Mailbox, Sponger? I got you on this one before....
Krappie, you are a TINNNNNNNNNNY bit warm here.

| Depends...whether the box is located in a residential/rural area, or if the box is located on a porch, next to the door! Most often there is a POST under the mailbox, which is sunk in the ground; if I remember correctly, the box should be a height of between 36"-42". If the # 2 is more important, then how abouts Surf City(Jan&Dean), where there is 2 girls for every boy? Daggone Shep! I type TOO slow, and think TOO much!:O Edited by Sponge 2/11/2003 9:27 AM | |||

| Ok dudes/dudettes, I don't care if i win, but we must solve this thing, as he is having too much fun watching us struggle!!! So far: -the more there are, the less there are... -found under a mailbox(Post) -bunched up in 2, the wood is not holding the clue to find me -said Esoxjunkie was correct; not sure what he meant by that, read Jamies post on the first page -is not there w/ the others -2 in 1, separated by 2, 1 makes up the other, woods won't be found there -said Krappie was a teeny bit warm... -a POST under the mailbox... *I think off the top of me head, someone who thinks from w/in take this and RUN!:O | |||

Posts: 131 Location: Kalamazoo, MI | "Now you know I am not in a tree. I am not alone, I am bunched up in 2. 1 is not 3. The wood is not holding the clue to find me." There is a reference in the song "we dont care" by the huntingtons for "1 is not 3". Edit: nevermind, this is way off. Is it obvious that im clueless yet? Edited by spieg 2/11/2003 10:16 AM

Posts: 364 Location: in the white boat | I'm with Sponge here. I don't care who wins, but this is controlling my life now. It's messing with my head, and I'm absolutely positive it's giving Mr. Worrall far too much pleasure watching us rack our unstable, incompetent minds. This is no longer a hunt, its and obsession. Pages in a book Worrall?

| Note the emphasis on the word "MY" mailbox in Worralls post on this page...could it refer to a post below this board; perhaps in the removed post section, or in the shame post section...I think I basically disqualified myself by attempting to imitate a smart person!;)...as a collective mental machine, we should be able to fiqure this thing out...now I must rest___________) | |||

Posts: 364 Location: in the white boat | I skimmed the shamed and removed post section this morning. Came up with nothing. I hate the thought of an old boat salesman being able to outwit a young, intelligent group of guys such as us. I guess the fact that he has us scrambling like this indicates that the old fart is already one up on us, eh?

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Ok, I will give you this one, POST is correct. The prize is located in a post on MuskieFIRST. The reference is in a forum everyone can visit anytime. Krappie, yes, kill two birds with one stone is a bit warm, has to do with all the references to the two and the one.
Clue Number 7) the prizes were three, now they are 5, but the clues for the first will keep you alive.

Posts: 419 Location: Appleton, WI | Could the prize possibly be a free trip to Cave Run this coming March? Hmmmm...something tells me I should still be thinking in riddles instead of making wild guesses, but what the eh. catch ya later, Krappie P.S. Here's a riddle for Zach. Why do I have to erase my password in order to post my thread? I'm having a problem posting when my password is filled out in it's field. If I erase it I'm able to post....go figure. This still holds true with my newly registered user name also. Edited by Krappie 2/11/2003 1:03 PM

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The prize has already been described. The LOCATION of the prize is the secret. Find that, and you win all the goodies. you now know it is in a post on MuskieFIRST. You also have a bunch of clues as to what it is I am referring to in that hidden post. Clue Number 8) The wood is working in a post as well, it was made from a tree that ultimately fell, is called by it's name, it's position you will find, in a post where the thinkers are, this will help you go find the 2 that will win, as finding this one will not. Now quit trying to make this complicated, and give it a shot!!
Note to Krappie: Re register with a shorter password, that should do it. 6 to 8 characters should correct the probelm. And you still are a bit warm...

Posts: 5874 | what is eleven but two ones and a worrallswoodworking.com plaque that will help you understand how to find the TRUE winning prizes, the other 2 of the 3...good luck! Post if you find this, and first one who does will win a Bucher Lure Tuner and a MuskieFIRST magnet for the fridge. The 2 of the three will be MUCH tougher...

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Shep, you HAVE the Bucher Lure Tuner and the Magnet. Now get out there and find the rest of the prizes...:)

Posts: 23 | Is it the Feb 6 post of S. Worrall: "I will be in line to buy a few. I saw the bait work; it is going to be a fishcatching machine! [:bigsmile:] " ? The "bigsmile" being the important part.

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | After Shep found the muskie plaque, I figured you guys would catch on to what he was looking for. Nope. VERY cold on the last few guesses.
Extra Clue: Krappie was warm, Sponge was too, Shep found one prize, where are the two?? Under a mailbox, out in the weather, in a timeframe from the Byrds, one, two, three or the other. If I got any easier, the prize would be found, by anyone out there with the sense of a hound!!!
Shep, what was that? Byrd in the hand, that's funny.
If this is won in the next week, we will do another much much tougher one that will be modeled after this event. Will be easier to follow, harder to figure out.
| |||
| Is it the "OK, new contest" post of which there were two? | |||
| |||
| Found with the sense of the hound? Blood- possibly a hooking accident in the fall...Mr. Hinze hooking his hand? (One in the hand). Mr. Rusty got his plaque in the limerick. Closer? | |||
| |||
| Just starting to wonder if a day at the Worral Hideout might possibly put someone in the looney bin? | |||

Posts: 419 Location: Appleton, WI | Subject : New Contest Winners!!!! Hint, more than one..... Posted : 2003-01-31 11:37 PM Post #7125 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Commanche Jim, Please e-mail me your choice of an item off our site with your home address so I can get it out to you. I'm in college right now and I'm pretty busy so the sooner you get me the info the better. I especially liked the pick of Craig Eversoll submitted by Donnie. I'm working on a new muskie design that I should have done soon. When I'm finished I'll put a picture of it on the site and send out one for each of you. Congrats from Worralls Woodworking Brian I had found a post that Sir Spong has alluded to. I've looked at a couple times and said what the heck I got nothing to lose. What stands out is the "Hint, more than one in the title." It may not mean much, but I tell you what you can kill two birds with one stone on this one. What's really crazy is that a guy can start making sense out of things that may not even pretain. such as if you thake the 2003 add the two digits you have 25 and you add 01-31 you have two 11's .LOL and have Commache Jim reply to it with post #58059 when the original post is #7125. Things don't add up. Not only that but if you look hard every post that Commache Jim places has the #112 on this thread. Whatever is the case I might be just losing my head like everyone else, but it's fun trying to crack this egg. catch ya later, Krappie
