| Dudes, I'll try to get hold of my cousin who lives outside D.C. if he's in country. Wife called + they had recently moved 1 of her offices from Wall St.....hard to believe this but we have been fortunate so far. Hope Ben Remer is ok as he is living in that area. Sad thing is these people actually think they are doing God a favor + will go straight to heaven once they die.....WRONG ANSWER. not being able to do anything makes it worse but how can you defend against those who have no respect for life? Looks to me like from here on uot things will be different now that this has happened + our lives will somehow be diff. from here on out. what really bites is we live between D.C. + Radford Arsenal, both major targets......I'm moving up there!!![:(] |

| Hello, I am okay. It has been a very scarey morning. I am about a mile or so from where the towers once stood. The sound and feeling of the earth shaking is something I will not soon forget. Cannot really leave the house as the city is shut down and I live near a hospital so things are very out of control. I just feel for the people who where in the buildings and the families not knowing if there relatives are okay. I know phone lines are busy, so just keep the faith...Ben Remer |

They had to have been flown by terrorists as I feel confident that American pilots would have taken a round in the head or crashed into the water rather than hit the towers....of that I am positive!!! Fox News has pretty good coverage.... |

Whoever did this will be meeting Allah very soon.

| Wow! Sponge,I just got a real sound shock,a low level F-16 flight over my house.I believe they are guarding air space over the worlds largest Chemical Supplies,Sodium for making Bombs etc.,at Plants in Niagara Falls,NY.Airplanes diverted to Toronto,Ontario are being told to avoid this airspace! |

| Unbeleivable...I have not been on the boards too much lately. I travel alot. I think of this frequently and have said prayers for all this morning. Thank the dear Lord that I am not traveling today. I work for a company in Vermont and have several collegues that live in Boston, New York and Jersey. Sitting in Wisconsin at home today feels good, yet a very sureal feeling and empty feeling!
A very sad day, and many more to follow as this tragedy unfolds. |

| Easy folks, this is indeed a terrible day. We are still under attack. Let's wait for the Government to let us know who did this before we 'go off' on any particular group or religion that is not guilty. It is really hard to apologise later..keep the faith. The US will NEVER be the same.

| Larry, we are near Radford Arsenal that provides rocket fuel + classified stuff; about 45 minutes away. I imagine the area you are in would also be a high priority area also...if it was a "splinter group" believe me there is a "tree base" nearby providing what it took to do this!!!!
