Right now, temps are ranging anywhere from "good luck" to "don't waste your time".
If anyone else finds substantial proof otherwise, please let us know.

Catch 'em.
Andy

Nice - I'll have the lake to myself then. LOL

If you don't mind me asking, what were you moving them on. All times out so far everything was moving on Mantas and Phantoms.

I caught two Muskies last Wednesday on spinner baits. Also had two others on and had one break off when I somehow managed to create a massive rats nest as it slammed the bait. Somehow the spool released right on the hookset. Lost my best CJs spinner bait too and had to cut out the line and respool the reel after that. It seems my hook sets are hard enough anyway....

Downsizing was the key. You don't always need big baits to catch a Muskie. Some days smaller baits work better.

I had 47-48 in Spring Park Bay and 50-51 further east. This was the mid day shift on Sunday.

The highest I saw yesterday was 49.8. A couple of lookers, but no eaters.

I saw 48/49 degrees on the east side. We saw one fish the whole outing and she wanted to eat but missed the bait and swam off. I heard similar repots, surprisingly tough bite yesterday.

48 today in most spots, beautiful day on the water. But, fishing for me has been very slow in November
Others are reporting the same, but walleye anglers are showing up at dusk.
I think it is time to start tying flies for next year

I was out there as well today, but didn't show 48. Hit 51 in one channel off of lafayette bay, but most everywhere else I had 45 - 46. Had one small one follow, but nothing in the boat. Beautiful day on the water, just no fish...

Had to laugh, though... Got back to the ramp and a guy who was fishing walleyes (or something to that affect) had caught a fish he said was 30 pounds and was going to bring it home and have it mounted. Had it in the livewell and it was doing well. He didn't have a measuring stick, and so I handed my stick to my partner to measure the fish. I swear I kid you not on this... The fish measured 36 inches!! Sure hope he let it go. we had to get out of the way for more boats coming off the water...

Without trying to be an elitist snob....... A good procedure would be:
1. advise said angler on the legal state minimum size limit and the availability of replicas...if that doesn't work
2. #TIP gets you the MN DNR in Minnesota on your cell phone

Turg, you don't have to TRY to be an elitist snob.

I second Bob's motion... get in there and make a difference.

Last I checked, water temps are nearing "hang it up", but have been hovering around "utter confusion" for quite a while.

well the water temps are still in the 46 degree range... i have been focusing on trolling but have blanked several times now since a week ago sunday. with the temps as high as they are i should be casting pounders because i feel the fish are still sticking in tight to the weeds as i havent been getting any rips. give them big offerings and you wont be sorry. maybe it will be time 2 troll when i get back from wisconsin! going home today to troll green bay for a few days and go rifle hunting! good luck out there guys.

Monday 11/16. Nothing not even a follow in the afternoon to sun down. It was a very nice day weatherwise.

Water temps 46.5 main lake and 45.6 to 45.2 in small bays and coves etc.

4 other boats in one small bay fishing Muskies and nothing.

Landing one boat saw nothing the other said he saw 5 plus a 4 footer but all the fish were 6 to 2 feet deep.

I agree - yesterday was a bit slow. Only saw 6 and none of those were too active. Been an average Nov though - not great, but not bad either.

Any one have any ideas on where the fish are on Tonka this afternoon? Going to start Walleyes and maybe give the sundown a few cast for the big boys.
