| Wow. First, have to congratulate Charlie Carpenter for catching the fish. He has worked his butt off this week and was rewarded nicely for his effort. This has been the toughest start to a season I can remember. Lots of small fish and follows/near misses but the big fish have been playing Houdini. Not this one. Moonrise was at 8:42 last evening and the sunset was within 1/2 hour of that. The fish ate the Black/Red Double Cowgirl inside that window. She ate at the end of a cast and came completly out of the water twice. Fish thought it was a tarpon. The fish had totally engulfed the bait but no surgery was needed thanks to the HookPick. Great tool that saves fish. She swam away strong with several witnesses. Thanks for all the kind words guys and remember, "Ya never know". Hope to have some better pics up soon. Again, congrats Charlie and Dave, you guys ROCK! Steve | |||
