XM radio - Channel 46 (Top Tracks, or Hot Tracks... can't remember) and the 150 or 151 (Comedy Channels). Nice to laugh at something when it's 150 degrees, 300% humidity, and it's hour 10 into a day with not so much as a follow...

I agree with Shane gotta have Mettalica blaring in the boat. Others that get the nod are Kid Rock, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Collective Soul and other rockers, also some Notorious B.I.G. to change the mood.

I also agree with Shane...amen to Metallica. I like Metallica, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Godsmack, G 'N R, and Ozzy, but Metallica could be top 10 all by itself. Just about any Metallica song will do b/c they rock, but here goes an attempt of the Top 10 Metallica songs. Now not only are these songs awesome but here's a muskie fishing spin to each of them:

Master of Puppets - muskie tackle is the source of destruction to your wallet

One - for obvious reason...there is only One fish to fish for

Disposable Heroes - Bull Dawgs for many go "Back to the Front" and do what you say, when you say... they catch fish, big fish and just when you think they are disposable, you can melt these hereos back together and keep on Dawgin'

Sanitarium - fish for 'em long enough and they will drive you there, and it really doesn't take that long

...And Justice For All - justice is served you when you stick that first 50" (unfortunately, I have no justice yet b/c I'm stuck on 47")

Enter Sandman - Now I lay me down to sleep, pray the lord my soul to keep, if I die before my next wake, I pray the Lord my last wake made my knee's shake

Battery - Casting with aggression, turns into obsession, can I stick this Musk-e-llunge

Seek & Destroy - the mission of a die hard trophy nut

Fade To Black - burning the midnight oil to night stalk them

For Whom the Bell Tolls - when the clock strikes 12 on your week long trip to Canada

St. Anger - these fish can flat out piss you off

I remember a trip to Canada when the fishing was slow and hotter than blazes, it was midday and we blow into a bay with no regard for waves and leave our stereo cranked to AC/DC and proceed to fish, needless to say, completely against the grain, and catch a 42". Go figure...

Hope you enjooyed the spin. Tight lines,

My Top 15 in the Boat.

AC/DC
Korn
Disturbed
Chevelle
Drowning Pool
Paul Oakenfold (great for night fishing)
Moby (therapy after losing fish)
Johnny Cash
Metallica
Beastie Boys
System of a Down
Eminem

Packer Games will always get the nod, and Brewer games.
I am suprised not many people are listening to Baseball games. U can catch 1/2 the season while fishing. However I may just be listening because Bob Eucker is annouccing, makes me feel like I'm in the middle of the movie
"Major League" every game.

I will be adding a bunch more tunes to the mp3 for this year using this thread.

Nice Post Justin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't listen to music while fishing.......but if I did, I couldn't think of anything better than letting the twang' of Dwight Yoakum call those piggies in.

No tunes for us. We have 4 teenage girls so the peace & quiet of the outdoors is our preference....loons, seagulls, geese, wind thru pines, waves against the boat and shore, the line being cast out, lures hitting water......

dr, you mean Creed(or 3 out of 4 of them anyhow)? Check out their new one "Blackbird" yet?

mason turned me onto Nikki Sixx's solo effort Sixx AM on the bay last fall. Kept me warm for a few days out there.

And one that used to be in the top 5, my boys from Kansas, Paw. dr, check the tune 'Couldn't Know' , about a big fish. Check out 'Built Low' too.
