| Steve, great job with this auction. As I see it the current bid is at $700.00. This is $350 from Doc Esox and $350 from Gregm. This is a great deal for that amount of jing. I have added a couple of things to the kitty as well. Also have offered to throw in a reel to go with the rod if this auction gets up to or above the $1,000.00 mark. | Steve....my understanding is Esox69 and I are in for $1,150 at the moment. The Loomis MUR914CX from Chuck really threw it over the top for me. In my opinion that may be the premier musky rod...they just started making them last year and I was in the process of ordering a blank. But now it is part of the whole package....yeehaw!!!

I have a feeling that you two are going to have to wash some muskie slime and develop some film after a couple of days with Worrall and myself. Next step is for all of us to figure out what days this will take place(the sooner the better for myself) Once this is done I'll e-mail each of you with any more details. | Chuck....I know this may be asking alot. Would it be possible for you to get the blank for me and rod components? I would be happy with just the blank if sending the component is too much trouble. They do make it in the blank...I've checked already--at least they have a blank listed at 7'7" (MU914). If you can do this could you make sure it is the same blank for me?? I have made all my rods for too many years now....plus I would like to add about 5" to make it an 8' rod. I'll get down on my knees and beg if I have too.
And assuming this is possible Chuck....could you get the stuff to me at least a month before the trip (the sooner the better) so I can have it done?? Pretty please with musky slime on top??
