Random quote: Muskies are nasty. They stink. They taste bad. They are hard to catch and will disappoint even the most devoted angler. The lures required cost more than some women's jewelry. The rods and reels require a remortgage of the house. The boat is always worth more than the tow vehicle. Sure beats the hell out of golf.

Thanks "pamuskyhunter". There are a few on e-bay now, including a rainbow trout. Just search for "custom muskie glider". Cliff

The new kid on the block! MRG painted this one up for me. Did a great job too!

Top lure is a 9 inch Grandma and the bottom is my 17 inch Grunt.

Should have a video on my home page soon of these running next to that 9 inch Grandma.

There all eye-catching but the top one is really cutting edge stuff. Wood, plastics, blades in one bait? That's just incredible stuff. It appears to be as functional as it is innovative.

I believe that they use taxidermy eyes? The results are stunning. It's so refreshing to see true innovation like this.
Piketalk, you have some major talent my man!

Really nice looking baits. That's an understatement, really. Nice to see some super creative ideas from across the big waters too. This thread has become a museum of really cool looking baits, and I keep being surprised, even when I thought that I had seen everything. Awesome.

I honestly feel bad for anyone just starting out because there are so many amazing bait makers and painters out there right now. That being said, it's great to have something to shoot for and hopefully one day surpass. Piketalk, those are simply stunning!
