Yes cows can bite. But they like to bump, kick, and step on you more than bite. You don't want to be a farmer this year! I wish mother nature would pee all over us right now!

Farmer Rick, you have given the first correct response to what I was looking to get. I've actually thought about doing the Oliver Wendall Douglas pursuit, and getting a position with a railroad. Not even the wooden bumper maker seemed unhappy. so I thought I would represent a possible % point or two.

Mike's Extreme is my guide service. Been doing the guide thing most of my life. That is where the tag name came from. My full time job of 28 years is working at Waukesha Electric. We make transformers for electric company's and whoever else can spend a million plus to get one of our transformers. If you ever see a semi with 100 wheels and over 100 feet long it might be one of our units. Most are shipped by rail but some need to be trucked. Crazy big stuff that produces lightning type power.

I'm lucky enough to work for a benefits outsourcing firm. I play with 401k administratation and consulting all day, or as they say, work in the nerdary all day. It's actually a pretty cool job as I get a good look into employee benefits, the trends that occur between various employers, and it opens my eyes as to how benefits impact my own life. Good stuff.

On disability and a volunteer at a nursing home. Used to be respectible, a CEO with a MBA, but now I'm just a drunk nutcase living in the family summer house on a lake with a huge stereo system and I both bother and scare my neighbors.

I'm a team leader at a branch of Magna International and Cosma body systems which makes about any component of any car you could imagine. But I originally by trade, am an automotive technician/diesel tech. Also done some mining, logging, welding, and a few other things. Now for my favorite job, I'm a 19D United States Army Cavalry Scout with the 278th ACR TN National Guard.

I make wood plank replacement rear bumpers for 77-87 mid sized gm cars and a few trucks too.

Only someone who had a mid-size 77-87 GM would know how funny that is...

I'm a Control Systems Specialist, designing/programming controls in the municipal water/wastewater industry. Between that and being a homeowner, there is not a lot of time for fishing.

I applied for local position of rocket scientist, but they said I didn't qualify......for 14 years I was in the international coatings business in the wood division, designing chemical coatings for cabinets, furniture, and accessories. After becoming tired of constant travel and deciding to become a father I went to work for the railroad. Yep, that guy on the train. That's me. Low stress, decent pay, and fun.
