Posts: 550 Location: So. Illinois | I've been shopping for years. Finally pulled the plug on a Crestliner Fish Hawk 1850 WT. It's still with the dealer pending final prep. Can't wait to pick it up and put her on the water. Attachments ---------------- ![]()

what is the depth of your garage?

Location: Green Bay, WI | bllhogg - 6/23/2017 8:44 AM what is the depth of your garage? It's 23' 6", which is only about 3/4" more than the overall length of the boat/motor with the trailer tongue open. That's why I have to put the trolling motor down--because I'd never get the garage door closed if I didn't! I always said I wanted to buy the largest boat I could fit into my garage. No more calls folks, we have a winner... I am putting up a detached garage this fall: 32' long, with an 8' tall door. The height isn't an issue on this boat actually though--My 6' 10" door opening clears the engine cowling and top of the windshield by about 3". But I have to crank the engine all the way to the left in order to get that last inch needed to close the door. So I definitely need a larger garage. TB

If you can angle the boat a bit, and you choose the engine correctly, you could probably make it work at 23 feet. Quam's has a 2015 Angler 2080VS with a 250 Optimax, and that would likely be a little shorter than the F225 Yamaha I have on this rig. Their price is pretty good, but I think they'll come down a bit more even...if they still have the boat. I found this boat in Michigan, but I did talk to Quam's about their boat. It sounds like a great rig. TB

TB So far so good. I just spent 6 day in Door Co fishing everyday and I spent $40 in gas. Some days I ran around a lot.
