Those are extremely impressive. I like the tight scaling pattern. Heres a few of the table not coated in epoxy yet. 4.5" bluegill and perch.

Thanks everybody for the kind words. Those look great Jim! The epoxy is going to really bring out the details in those!

Fatfingers, look what you have done to me!!!!!! I met fatfingers in the late summer at a boat ramp. He showed me some of his lures that he made and now I am addicted to this. No way out now!

What are all you talented people doing selling baits to fisherman for? Try some art shows and get a larger audience, I bet you sell 10:1 in that setting.

I'm going to be selling some in a local art store as a matter of fact. So many incredibly talented bait makers are coming out of the wood work (No pun intended.). I'm so pleased seeing the envelope being pushed to higher and higher levels.

A very Merry Christmas to everyone who posts or has anything to do with MuskieFirst!

For you guys doing the Faux finish and foil. If your looking to give somethign cool a try print off your fish prints on decal paper and overlay it onto a foiled bait. The results are pretty cool. I'll try to see if I have a couple left and put a picture up. Great work guys I need to get cracking on more baits again now that I have my prior engagements completed.

this thread is SICK! you guys totally RAWK! I am in awe of the amazing talent displayed here. These lures are absolutely beautiful - works of art! and my wife says I have no appreciation for the finer things - HA!

I am truly jealous of all of you. With no skills, tools or creative talent, I can't even begin to imagine creating such masterpieces. I take my hat off to you. Makes me wish I was a wealthy man...I'd love to offer all of you a couple hundred bux for one of your lures to show my appreciation for what you do and to encourage you to keep up the excellent work. [by the way, if any of you artisans needs a new best friend to test out your lures, I'm available ]

As I go back and re-view your pictures I just keep saying WOW! Way to go, guys...keep it up! And thanx for sharing with us.

Yea, I have had folks tell me the same thing but for me building something that sits on the wall is not nearly as fun as building something you know a guy is fishing with.

figure8,
a tip i was given is to email the picture to yourself. when you do this it should ask if you want to make the file smaller, click yes. then open the email and save the smaller file. if its still too big email the smaller one to yourself using the same process again.

Thanks Castmaster for your help, but it didn't help the size of the files you can attach must be pretty big on my settings. These pictures came from a cheaper digital camera, all the better quality pictures are on my Kodak digital. I've got alittle work to do with my software to get my other camera working right.

Joe,

Glad it got there! Sorry once again for taking so long. Ha ha I wish I could just make baits instead of heading back to school, I just hope I will be able to design a decent building or house once I'm done.
