65" perhaps, providing the angler is taller than 7'.

I think it was reported as 55" if I'm not mistaken. If it's the fish I'm thinking of, I think his wife caught it a couple months ago, and it was 55". I haven't heard of anything over 55" being caught out here lately--although I certainly don't hear of each and every fish that's caught.

Yeah, looking at the picture again, I'm not even sure that it's the fish I heard about caught by the guy's wife. That picture of the fish doesn't make it look that much like a 55" musky.

sorry, but that is not anywhere near a 60+ inch fish.... and theres no way you could hold a 65 inch, 50+ #er so easily.

Wisco - I was just going to say that same thing. I consider myself a pretty strong dude, and I struggle to hold up 50" fish that may be 40 lbs at best. No way that guy can hold a 50+ lbs fish that easily!!!

Easily a 65...it's been photo shopped to look like a 49.8, 39#'r
Keeps people from swarming the lake.

I didn't know there was a formula for Green Bay fish. Ok. So...I am bad at math.

R + (R X .25) = PR

R = Real measurement
PR = Picture measurement

I guess so, and point taken. Happens now and again.

Wouldn't be such a big deal, but...SIXTY FIVE and that image? That will get the BS-Ometer howling every time.

nice fish but 65" is a bit of a stretch even with a tail pinch.

@Flambeuski

not to be rude, but "hitting the gym" has nothing to do with it. This fish is clearly struggling to hit the 40# mark. A 40 pound fish is heavy to hold up, let alone a 50+ pounder!... I just can not imagine this guy being able to hold a 65 inch, 50+#er with such ease...

A good rule of thumb for better results in the boat is to start at the 15" mark on the bump board

haha. in all seriousness, i stopped taking any measurements or size on any fish. non fishermen dont care, fishermen chastise any measurement regardless, so it doesnt make any difference what it was. started appreciating the chase more because of it, being preoccupied on the hunt and not about getting internet cred.
