Posts: 2752 Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Hi - Once again I'm faced with making a tough decision- are these colors good enough to add to the Zalt NAD 2003 offerings? Here's the message I got from Peter af Rolen at Zalt AB in Sweden. "Hello, Mike and Al. See below new possible patterns. Please let me know as soon as possible if you find some of these interesting. Counted from the above number 3,4, 5 and 6 is made with holographic foil. Best regards Peter" Here's the deal- take a look at the .jpg attachment. There are six new color patterns shown- From top down. #1. 14 cm/5.5" Zalt #2->#6 16cm/6.3" Zam Last 4 are holographic. Tell me what you think, i.e., 1. Order of preference that you would purchase the Zams. f.ex. 6,3,4,2,5 2.Is there one or more you wouldn't buy or use? 3. Should we also get these colors into the standard Zalt colors for 2003 ? 4. What about the Zalt? Yeah or nay? 5. What would you name/call these colors, i.e., all six- f.ex- 1= xxxx 2=xxxxxx etc. You must respond to all questions to be eligible. Your reward for responding to this post will be similar to the last Zalt NAD contest here on MF. You will be entered into a drawing for a six pack of the new Zam's + 1 each of the new colors if they are selected for inclusion in our 2003 Zam color offering. That's 6 standard + 5 potential new colors if they make the cut. That's 11 lures @ $16.00 ea. = $176.00 at retail. The dead line for this contest is Sunday the 17th of March at Midnight. The prize drawing will be handled the same as the last one- I will print out the entire thread and cut each reply out & wad it into a paper ball and deposit same in my MF hat. Then I will take the hat upstairs where my unbiased cat Duffy will be anxiously waiting to pick the winner. I will mix the contents of the hat and dump it on the kitchen floor. The first paper ball that Duffy acually starts to play with is the winner. Sniffing the paper balls doesn't count. The winner will be posted here at 9:00Am Monday the 18th of March. The last contest winner was MF own Southshore( a.k.a. Ray Nowak) . Southshore won 2 Zalt 19cm/7.5" + a 6-pack of our new Zalt 25cm/10" when they arrive later this spring. This contest is open to anyone (including MF staff), however you must either post your name or be a MF member. Sorry Anon postings will not do, as I have absolutely no way to prove who the Anon was, I think this is only fair to the others who respond. Zalt NAD Prostaff as always are not elligable for this contest (Not to sweat they will be getting stockpiled with Zalts & Zams before the 2003 Muskie season opens. Now that we have the Zams in stock, your first shipment goes out next week) So let's hear what you think. Posts: 2752 Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Sponge- Just checking to see if you guy's are paying attention. Right! A Zam is like a Zalt, i.e., a cresent wrench. Only a little different profile Twitch, jerk, rip, crank, troll or jig all depends on the appllication and applicator. Available as floating, suspending or sinking. Check the MF Video section. Better yet come to New London WI this Sunday and see for your self. Al

Posts: 2752 Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Some really cool names- sorry I don't think "Red Dragon" would be approriate as our good friend Bill Schwartz @ Slammer has a very attractive bait with that name. The odd's are now at 22:1, I'm sure you guys were hoping I'd let this drift on down the pages until Sunday midnight ehh? ;-) Not!........ bttt Al "Welcome to the chum bucket" Edited by ESOX Maniac 3/15/2003 4:56 AM | ||
