I'm going to try my hardest to make it, very good show last year. I will wear my MuskieFirst hat. I will probably be alone so stop and say hi if I am wandering around aimlessly. What is the schedule of events for the show?

I will be there! I went last year and it was a great show. It sounds like there is going to be a lot of new booths this year.

The show will consist of 2 seminars one given by Pete Maina on "Realitites of Big Muskies" and the other by Rich Reinert on " Scratching the Surface with Topwaters". There will also be poolside demos and many raffles going on. Show hours are 11 am-5 pm on Sunday March 16. Hope to see all of you there.

The show is at the New London Middle school, 1000 W. Washington St., New London, WI. If you come in from the north on business 45 when you get to the Dairy Queen go staight accross the bridge and take the first right ( county X) they do have small green or brown signs pointing where to go. go down to the second or third road on your left, not sure ( only about 1/4 mile, Werner Allen Rd. go left go till you see the school on your left. If you turn one road to soon ( Oshkosh st.) the school will be on your right , but you will see the pool first (separate building).
The Seminars usually start between 2PM and 3PM with a break in between.

I always make it a point to get to this one. The pool demos are always a highlight in learning any tricks with a new lure. My son and I plan on getting there early so we can get some Leech Lake raffle tickets, need some new Tinsel Tails, another 10" Manta, who knows what other stuff we'll buy, and see some of you. Have to be back late afternoon so I don't know which speaker we'll get to hear - hopefully both.

The show was good, I didn't stick around real long but it was nice to meet some of the other Muskiefirst members and check out all the new baits. I met Pete Maina briefly, and ate a few brats. I also bought a few raffle tickets including a couple for the Leech Lake spawning fund. I bought the following baits:

1-Floating Zalt
2-Tinsel Tails
2-Custom Funky Chicken Spinners from Bruce
1-Triple D
1-Pacemaker, thanks for the discount Ty.
1-Sliding Shad

Zipped over from Wausau today with my son and we both blew some cash and had a good time together. Anytime you can get the kids to do something with the old man is always worth it.

1. 10" Manta
2. 3 bucktails from Ducktail Lures
3. 2 Tinsel Tails
4. Ty Sennets Rough Runner
5. a walleye drift kit with weedless sinkers from Angling Solutions.
6. Leech Lake raffle tickets - we drooled looking at the prize list.
7. X-Glide from Roger - watched it in the pool and bought the
pearlescent perch pattern.
8. some RubberHairy flat tail lizards from MuskyE. Nice talking to you
after watching the RubberHairy Glider in the pool I'll be ordering
some when available.
9. a couple of the new stretchy teaser tail bucktails from A & L Lures.
He had made me a custom color bucktail last year that ended up being my
hot bait. I brought it along so he could copy it and make me 2 more.
If you haven't used his product, try it. Very well made and durable.
10. We had to leave early before the raffles so we gave our door prize tickets and C&R raffle tickets to a couple kids. Hope they won.

Sold quite a few Tinsel Tails (sorry jlong for letting the cat out of the bag on the hot color) and picked up a few new toys too.

Fred good seeing you too. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to chat. The tinsel tails looked real sharp. After taking a look into Jlong's goodie bag I was kicking myself in the keister for not picking some up. There's a obvious reason why he picked up a few.

catch ya later,
Krappie

Was great to see some of the MF members there, Jo Musky ( A guy with a real passion for protecting Muskies and improving the resources), Muskyone ( A real wealth of knowledge about NE WI Muskies), Muskie Medic (I wish I had his work schedule) , Jon Olstadt (He was working the Walsh's Bay Store Camp-talk about happy customer's) ToddM & the three little Todd's- the 5 year old is a real fishing fanatic and has already gotten his first Muskie. He was showing off his Tinsel Tail, he's obviously planning on doing some damage w/that one. +  all three walked away with their own personal Zalt's. Those N. WI muskies better look out this summer. (Todd- hope you & the boys are having a blast at Kalahari) The boys didn't know that Kalahari was the ultimate destination

Great show & speakers (Rich Reinert & Pete Mania). Even though I only managed to catch a bit of each speaker's presentations. Thanks to the folks at Mosquito Hill for putting on a good event.

Ya, a good time. Glad to see some old faces and meet some new. Al W, ToddM, Oneida Esox, MRoberts, Roger W. great to meet you guys. I'm sure I forgot somebody! Sorry!

I had to wear shades in the Bay Store booth with all that light reflecting off my Tinseltailed neighbors. LOL!
