Not near the woods, too many would think the gov is spying on you and they will get blasted outta the sky.

If there were a drone hovering above my place, it would be taken down in short order for sure. Hopefully a few bottles survive the impact.

The sky could get pretty busy. What a great idea! Ideas like this probably were thought about first while siting in the shack jigging for walleye. Too bad the gov will get in the way.

I am sure they will make it a federal offense to shoot them down but just call it "Duck Hunter" as I'm in.

Fishing with Pointer and his dad a few years back and a buddy called me and asked if anything was going on. I jokingly told him we were out of beer. He said no problem, he had to go into town anyway. Within an hour a boat pulls up and he has a 12 pack of Schlitz for us. That was pretty neat.

We had the misses bring a case of Old Style out to the shack on Friday. No, not to see how much a 7 month pregnant girl could do, but we knew she wouldn't drink any on the way....

You want a good laugh? Call a pizza delivery joint and ask them to deliver a pizza to the boat landing. And after you talk to two managers AND the delivery guy, ask them to pick up a 12 pack on the way. It takes some convincing, but the reward is well worth the effort!

some counties in eastern Colorado recently voted to shoot them down. They also voted to succeed from the state.

I alway's wanted to quit this 8 hour pop stand and open a grill on skies for the lake, out of a travel trailer. Hire some good looking help and sell some hot food. Hit the jamborie circuit, it has to work right?
Wait you can catch them from the couch.......I know the guy!

Your 2nd sentence made me think of The Man Show episode where they have the kid getting signatures to end women's suffrage and people didn't know the difference between suffrage and suffering.

I'd be intrigued at how things will turn out if part of a state succeeds from another state. I can't recall any instances of that happening. States that voted to secede...yeah, that worked out well for the Confederacy.

If it's carrying beer, I find a way to commandeer the thing. No way do we shoot good beer out of the sky. Terrible waste.

Depends. If we are on the ice and out of beer, it's probably getting a pass.

A good buddy of mine was in town and was too drunk to drive and could not find a ride. Called the local pizza place to have a pizza delivered to his house. Walked down there and talked them into letting him ride along since they were going there anyway. Took some talking but he convinced them. Cheaper than a dui!!

Actually I've done this several times but I know them well they are less than 5 min. from the launch. My daughter worked there all the time was going to High School and would drive the owner 25 miles home at least twice a week when he would have a bit too much to drink

nothing wrong with a little triangle beer. Half my college housing furniture was made from their cases(couldn't afford Point most weeks).

While visiting family in the International Falls area last fall, we stopped by Voyagaire House boat on Crane Lake and picked up a brochure for a co-worker. One of the services they offer to their clients is that if you are out on the water in one of those big house boats, you can call in an order for food, beer, gas, etc. and one of the folks they contract with will pick it up and bring it to you on the water. Apparently each of the house boats has gps and they simply tell the delivery boat where you are at and they deliver. I am sure it is not cheap. In that wilderness setting drone deliver is not that far fetched and would be very popular.

Here's one for you. This happened a couple years ago before they were plastered all over the news. So my sons are driving down the road and they see an object hovering in the sky with blue and white lights on it. They then notice that it is moving slowly up the street. They weren’t sure what they are seeing. They get home and hop out of the car and they see the object coming closer to our house. They still have no idea what it is. It gets almost to our house and it comes crashing out of the sky on to the median in the road. They run over to it and find that it is a small drone with 4 propellers on it, it also had the name Parrot on the sides. So they grab it and wait to see if the owner comes to claim it. They waited 30 or 40 minutes and no one came. So they bring it in the house and Googled Parrot. They find that they can download an Android app for it. They download it and can immediately connect to the onboard wi-fi and they can fly it. It also has a built in camera that allows you to navigate it and see where it is on the Android phone’s display. They ended up playing around with it for a few months and eventually sold for a few bucks. Here is what it looked like.

We were fishing out of Anglers Isle on Mamie Lake of the Cisco Chain a few years back and a boat pulls up to the dock and drops off a box to us. It was a box from my dad containing mugs shipped via UPS. We were all just kind of stunned as the boat pulled up, dropped the box off and quickly left. To this day, we still don't know how or who the boat driver was.

Well it appears the FAA has decided to ruin the fun for now as they have put a hold on the project until further notice.

We had a summer back in college where all we could afford was either Rhinelander, or Falls City. $2/six pack. I remember a day when one of our buddies walked down into our basement bar with a 12 pack of Miller Lite and we were all going nuts because we finally had "real beer"...

I have to admit, on a really hot day ice cold PBR still tastes pretty good...

I don't know. They did bring back Schlitz a while back, though. Ahh memories...

Anybody else remember the malt liquor bull?
