Posts: 50 Location: Madison, WI | I've been pretty faithful to my Ambassadeur c3/c4 but lately, I've had a few fail on me, and I'm looking to try something a little different on my next buy. What's your go-to reel that you don't leave the shore without? Just lookin for some ideas!

Posts: 415 | Toro NACL 5.4, or my Curado 300EJ. Just depends on the application. But if I could only choose one, the NACL.

Posts: 2026 | MuskyManiac, NaCl with power handle. Pulls 10's easily with decent speed and slow rolling 13's works as well. Decent line pickup for for rubber. Low profile makes it easier for me to palm, which was the final reason I went with it over a Calcutta 400D. Price is a bit cheaper than a 400D and good deals can be found on them.

Posts: 2097 | I was turning the handle to fast on my tranx hg making the double 13's come out of the water. I slowed it down and now it is perfect with no fatigue what so ever.
