| More time on the water. | |||
| |||
| my goal for this year is to catch a 40"+ tiger muskie... [:bigsmile:] | |||
| |||
| My goal is to fulfill a couple of my 2002 goals. 1. Get my son a muskie. 2. Land a 50" fish. 3. Hope that 1, and 2 combine, and my son catches a 50" fish. 4. More time on the water. 5. Just to enjoy the season. Lance | |||
| |||
| 1. Take more time on the water (You can work your butt off to have money to go on trips, buy nice boats, baits, etc...but the only thing money can't buy is time) 2. Have my 8 year old son catch a larger musky than I do 3. Catch a 45"+ musky 4. Catch a 40"+ Mendota pike | |||
| |||
| Some small goals I have, 1.learn boom lake.(Hey worrall wanna go fishing??) 2.Fish more creatures and rubberbaits on clear water pressured fish. 3.Fish every weekend possible. 4.Actually boat a fish over 48" from the wisconsin river and not let it shake off. | |||
| |||
| Much the same as last year. 1) More time on the water 2) 20+ legals (4 this year) 3) Boat a 40" fish (Sluggo nailed a 41 out of my boat last year) 4) Fish with more knowledgable people than myself. (Bill S. maybe we can hook up this year - opening day is already spoken for)Mark H., Scott J., Jason, Worrall, SVL, OE and Paul K. you guys are all on my list 5) Get my daughter her 1st ski | |||
| |||
| 1. I am going to try and spend more time fishing muskies than bass. 2. I am going focus on spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Both casting and trolling. 3. Have my son catch his own muskie. I handed him the rod on a trolling fish last year. Would like to see him do it start to finish. He likes driving the boat so may not happen. 4. I will be looking for 20 fish in the boat. | |||
| |||
| My first goal is to find a way to get out fishing with a new born in the house! From there: -40 fish in the boat -spend "quality time" fishing open water -break my dependency on jerkbaits and topwater -fish with at least 10 new people -take some time out to enjoy fishing for "bait" -get my father-in-law his first muskie -take a kid fishing a least once After looking at this list I'd better get busy. ONLY 2 MONTHS TILL THE CAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |||
| |||
| I have several goals this year: 1.) Master the art of trolling on my local waters in my rig 2.) Catch a 50" before my brothers Tom or Mike do 3.) Have blast fishing the Cave and LOTW this year 4.) Book another solid trip to the Ottawa | |||
| |||
| i have only 2 goals for 2003 1 spending more time on the water with my family and getting my wife to fish insted of reading her book 2 from 2002, 2001, 2000 and so on, a 50 inch fish happy hunting duck | |||
| |||
| My goals are the following: 1. Troll more. 2. Get out as much as possible with my dad, he is in early stages of altzhiemer's disease. 3. Catch one more musky than Matt Collins. 4. Just enjoy life more. Good Fishing, Al | |||
| |||
| First thing I want to do is finish with all the projects around the house b4 it warms up. Second is build a new half-pipe for my son. Then, spend everyother weekend on the Cave or Green straining water. Then i want to win the lottery so I can quit working. Maybe find a girl friend or two, if my wife doesn't mind[;)] . Then I'm going to catch the new Kentucky state record musky[:bigsmile:] . All seems pretty reasonable to me!![:sun:] | |||
| |||
| To get out fishing at least 4 days a week [:bigsmile:] [:bigsmile:] | |||
| |||
| Catch my first 50" fish from my home waters ("USA") not Canada Don't get me wrong, I want to catch a 50" PIG from Canada also!!![:bigsmile:] More time on the water with my "FAMILY"[:)] | |||
| |||
| " To dream...the impossible dream...to inhale, a pint of ice cream... to climb to the highest ridge.... lose all I've got, live under a bridge!!!!!" TO DREAM!!!......... (Sing the above to the "Impossible Dream" tune) Actually I have few if any goals...me last goal conquest to post # 2003 on that date left me spent and but a shell of me former self, and now I must rest....were I forced to make a choice, I guess I'd like to make it through the year less medicated, eat more grits, wear shiny new shoes and become an administrator for a large Fortune 500 Company....[::)] | |||
| |||
| Goals for 2003 let me see, 1. Double the number of first timers that put muskies in my boat (2 last year) 2. Share the boat with more people, too many solo trips last year. The more baits flying the more fish per hour. 3. More time on the water resulting in more trips to the photo lab. Hoping for 40+ legals. 4. I need a 50 incher (boy I wish this goal would stop carrying over) 5. Learn three more bodies of water intimately. | |||
| |||
| In my first year i got a couple 40s. This year i want a 50" | |||
| |||
| I can get on the water whenever I want. Sure I'd like to put more fish in the boat, but what I would really like to accomplish this year is to ... catch a legal in the PMTT [:bigsmile:] Matt Beulke | |||
| |||
| Goals: 1. Get me one of them Muskie Nut t-shirts 2. Continue The Quest 3. Fish a day with Worrall as part of (2) above. 4. Attend the Cave Run and Sab Bay outings 5. Be a good husband, attentive father, oh, hell, who am I kidding? More time on the water! m[:bigsmile:] | |||
| |||
| Why Not Shoot Big? Thats what goal planning is for anyways right? Muskie Goals: 1. 45 days on the water 2. 30 "legals" (30"+) in the boat 3. break my (embarrasing) personal best of 46" 4. fish more different patterns, not get stuck on the same old same old 5. catch a fish in: Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Tennessee, and Canada 6. get the girlfriend to like Muskie fishing, or at least enjoy being on the water. Personal Goals: 1. Smoke less, swear less, work out more, weigh less 2. Be a good boyfriend to my girl 3. Make my girlfriend into a fiance 4. Make enough money at the new job to buy the girl friend then -fiance the 2 carat marquee cut platinum setting ring that she wants! Slamr | |||
| |||
| To make enough loot to buy a new boat. That's pretty much it. I fish all the time anyway.[:sun:] | |||
| |||
| Find a really good reason to pull the trigger on a Ranger 521 to replace the going on 5 year old 519. | |||
| |||
| My list is small but there is one thing I want to do that carried over from 2002 and that is to catch a fish longer then 55 inches ( see #4 ). 1- guide more days then last year (75) 2- get even more clients their first 50+ then last year (7) 3- Get Phishin hooked up with a 50+ and then his partner. [:praise:] 4- explose a lot of new waters on my days off 5- get more of the muskiefirst guys in my boat | |||
| |||
| My main goal is to buy a cabin or house up north this year. It's been 20 years of waiting and this looks like that year. Goals: 1)get my other 2 kids their 1st skis. 2)beat my best of 46 1/2" 3)fish with other than my comfort lures 4)find new spots 5)no injuries like the broken ankle last opener | |||
| |||
| I'm goingto try and spend more time on water with "Big fish potential".[:bigsmile:] | |||
| |||
| I had a good year lasy year compared to previous years. 1) Put my kids on more fish. Put my oldest and youngest on their first musky. 2)Get my mom to catch a musky casting. 3)catch at least as many that I did last year. 4)Catch bigger fish than I did last year. 5) troll more shallow water 6)troll deeper more effectively. 7) keep working out, maintain my weight. 8) figure out how to be more proficient with a computer. I can't get onto two muskie sites since I got cable and I would like to figure out how to post pics. | |||
| |||
| My goal is to break the 50" barrier this year (hopefully during a tournament)![:bigsmile:] I've tangled with more than a few and hope to "LAND" one finally. I can't believe what a difference 2 inches makes... Good fishing to all, Karen p.s. I promise to post the photo if I'm lucky enough to get one!![;)] | |||
| |||
| 1. Get that magic 50"er. (CPR of course) 2. More fish in the boat than last year's 21. 3. Score a 2003 Michigan Master Angler Award so I can put the patch below the 2002 patch on the arm of my M1 jacket. 4. Attend a M1 outing without being flashed by you-know-who's big, ugly, hairy, and white BUTT. yup - that about covers it | |||
| |||
| lets see.....2002 was a excellent year, but my fall absolutely sucked. I want to have a good fall for once. only 3 fish, but one was 50". In 2003, i would like to: 1. catch a 50.5 or better 2. land 25 or more over 30" 3. get my partner a 45" or better. 4. fish with new people and new waters. 5. do more multi-species angling marc | |||
