i cast 75+% of the time, PB was caught trolling
i have hooked larger fish casting but could not boat them. |

| Position fishing, so partly casting, partly trolling:-) MY PB's for casting and trolling were the same length, the trolling fish was fatter. BR

Location: Chisholm, MN | My 50.5 ate a slowly crawled sucker. I usually fish suckers from October through November. Not exclusively. I cast and troll spots half the time too. My previous 50 was casting at 3am in the 8.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Personal best caught on water where I could troll, and didn't. I do stop at all Troll booths, though, because if you run one and break the law and they catch you doing that, they mail you a ticket. Imagine that. |

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Interesting topic actually. My PB was caught trolling but I've caught more 40# + casting. I cast 95% of the time though.

| Top 10 biggest fish have all been casting, but I cast 95% of the time. I want to see the fish eat he bait. Biggest trolling fish was a fat 48.5" - and as I scoped her in the net all I could think was it sure would have been a lot more fun to catch her casting |
