Posts: 494 Location: midwest | It's a big jigging rapala without the nose and tail hook. It should catch fish. I catch lots of crappie, perch walleye and sauger on the smaller ones from rapala, nils and northland.

Posts: 1060 Location: Palm Coast, FL | bubble - 12/24/2012 4:37 PM it's not gonna change a lot of thing if we can see it right now,it's not a plane that can fly at the speed of light, dude it's just a musky lure ;) Sorry...not going to spoil it. You will like what you see! Just give it a couple more days. We are still 2.5 weeks away from being able to purchase it. IMHO...it is much more than just a musky lure ![]()

Posts: 299 | You lost me at Brian Schram as it carries no weight in my opinion but I do like the concept Vince. I'm also curious at how this will compare or work in heavy current of Detroit River, SCR or any major current areas on the LSC System. The benefit of a Bondy Bait is it's weight and ability to stay vertical in the heaviest current. How will this bait compare? Is it a vertical jigging type bait primarily or is it made to be casted? The light weight and flutter has me thinking it could prove difficult trying to stay vertical in heavy current... Very interesting and I'd like to learn more! Very cool idea Vince! Could a "weight system" be added for deeper current areas or is it not needed with the current model?

Posts: 958 | Just talked to Brad Ruh from Musky Innovations, my bullhead color will come in 2 versions. One is the one from the above photo with a yellow tail, the other will have a black tail. At the Chicago show there will be a very limited amount of bullhead bulldawgs with yellow tails. He will have a full supply of them for Milwaukee and Madison shows Sounds like he will have plenty with black tails for Chicago Thanks, Jeff Hanson madisonmuskyguide.com

Could a "weight system" be added for deeper current areas or is it not needed with the current model? Being the custom rod maker and now bait maker...I can make what you want. I started out with a heavier version but the added weight definitely reduces the jumping out to the side motion. Not a problem adding more weight just have to special order it.
