| Not starting a peeing match so keep it civil. I would like to hear numbers of fish boated and approximately numbers of days fished. Don't want to hear about sizes. Just numbers and days. Been the worst year ever for me and looking to see if the guys who did well had something in common to what or where they were.

Location: Wisconsin River | Personal best this year, 62 river fish. Too bad so many get away, that number could double. Had a monster chase a bass bait into a weed bed. came up empty. By far the largest fish Ive seen in some time. With the heat this summer, didnt fish for 5 weeks. Temps in the river went into the high 80s. not normal. Also had to deal with low water restricting access. Dreaming about next season already. |

Location: West of the metro, MN | Boated only 1 Fish, it was a fifty inch. I fished mostly half days after work with a few weekends in there. I counted approximately 25 outings. Definantly a learning year. |

| stats will bounce every where. hi density, trophy waters,hours,days . escaping work,honey do and enjoying the outdoors priceless.

| I boated 8, not too bad since this was only the second year I've fished for them. Definatly could have been better if I would have fished more earlier in the year. I didnt fish any June-August |

Location: Central Wisconsin | Was out a lot more this year probably a good 50 full days and only caught half as many as last year. Lost a handful of fish but for catching less the average size was up which is the silver lining. High water temps and low water on the river didn't help. Fish density waters are the big factor for most guys. Can fish some spots and see double digit fish all the time vs one or two fish seen on other bodies. |

Location: Blaine, MN | Caught a total of 2 fish this year... spent my week on Vermilion swimming, walking, and such with the new family. Fished twice in 6 days. One of the better vacations I can remember, All i caught was this little gem. Busiest year of my life, wouldn't trade it for anything. No tub in the Vermilion cabin, so we had bath time in the sink.

Location: Almond, WI | My catch per hour is way down, size way up, and # of fish seen up. I caught 5, including my three biggest ever. I also had my worst streak ever--I had 6 topwater blowups and 2 nip bucktails coming at me during the August full moon. Had I caught those 8, I'd be raving about a great year. I fished big fish water most of the time. Learned a lot though, and with a new PB, I've got no real complaints. Depends who and where you are though. Guys I know did great on LOTW this year. |

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I ended my season about a month early due to a minor arm injury that I am still suffering from.... However, had a decent season. Boated 12. Biggest was a 47" But I would not be able to give an accurate number of hours spent on the water.. If I had to guess, I would guess A LOT!

Location: minocqua, wi. | great june-early july at home with bigger than normal fish, then turned to salmon and pulling kids around on the wake-board vs. fishing in the higher temps. fall fishing was a bust for me ...
tough sled in canada but a good hot-bite on the last day made numbers work out just fine ... but, smaller fish caught and encountered than normal much i think due to the higher-than-normal water temps. we had during our week.
bass fishing was lackluster outside the spawn-bed bite on smallies

| This year sucked for me. I only fished 8 days, 4 fish to show for it, all caught in the same day, average size slightly less than other years - 41.5". Biggest this year was 47. It was probably one of the heavier fish I've caught, but I did better last year. And I did better the year before than I did last year. I usually average a fish for about every 12 hours on the water, but this year was close to 16 hours. Kind of a crappy year for pike, walleye, bass, and just about everything else, too. Even some of my "guaranteed to catch a fish here" spots were dead this year. Probably would have done better if not for several weeks where it was just plain too hot to fish. Surface temps pushing 83 all the way up North. Blech. |

Location: Wakefield, MI | I don't have actual numbers but was definitely an up year for me. I broke my PB 4 times and missed some beauties. One weekend had 4 in the boat, and I can only think of one where we got skunked. I'd say we got out musky fishing maybe 25 or 30 times and had around 40 fish in the boat.
Had a down year on bass after early season, and a down year on pike, I think a lot of that was because we spent all summer fishing for bluegill and crappie, which we slaughtered. |

Location: Central Minnesota | I would guess I had about 25 outings this year in a boat and 25 off shore outings. Dang work gets in the way of so much fun. Managed to boat 5 fish one being my PB at 51 x 24. A down year for me and my buddies but as the saying goes, a bad day fishing is better than a good day working. There is always next year. |

| 14 fish in 21 days for me and that included a 0 fish in 7 days vacation at Chippewa Flowage. Going to Kinkaid for my last day of fishing of the year tomorrow. |

| waters you fish does make a difference of course. Hours per fish in the boat is always interesting. Guys who catch 100 or more a year simply fish all the time!  On average if you are getting a fish in the net ever 3-5 hours you are doing better than most. I'm at 80 or so in the boat (only counting 30+ inchers) and about 350 hours on water.

| for what it's worth every guy I know had a down year, even some big name guides said it was their worst season. Would be great if we can get a cooler summer for a change! |

| Got out about 60 times, but most of my trips are 4-6 hours. Ended up with 10 in the net. Hit a bad slump late August through Turnover, but had a dynamite November. Only my 3rd season so still putting things together. Definitely learned a lot and enjoyed every moment on the water. Already chomping at the bit for next season. |

Location: Ogden, UTAH 10 minutes from pineview reservoir | tough year for me out here in utah! only boated 16 over 30" and 3 under 30" Did boat 8 over 40". Made prolly 35-45 trips. Lot less time spent on the water due to the birth of my daughter... One key factor was all my top h20 fish were all over 40", of course all of them were tigers as we are not fortunate enough to have pures....

| 129 over 30 but I spent 5 weeks guiding the cave n spring and 6 weeks in the fall with a bunch of trips mixed in thru the summer. I'd like to hear from some of the charter captains on st Claire. I bet they have some crazy numbers. |

| 21 for me, 8 for my wife. About 60 days on the water, whith most days 4 to 6 hours. Nikki fished with most of the time. Far from a good year for us. Largest fish 47.5. No fish caught since September 28. Looking forward to next year. |

| Far and away the last few years have been my best ever for size and quantity. 112 this year and 103 last year. Had 2 great days this year with 14 and 15 boated and 2 days that were even better last year. I'm a regular who 's posting anonymously with nothing to gain, fully understand that most won't believe. These are my boats totals for 40" or better, 37 full days on the water this year, about half of them caught solo. Cheers |

| 24 total with 14 between 44" and 50.5". My best year for sure. I'm guessing 35 days and partial days fished. Couple trolling but most were casting and over half were in the 8. Had one day where we got 5 over 44" which is the best I've ever done. Can't complain but I'm still looking for a real pig! This was my 14th year attempting to catch muskies. |
