Hello all,

Winter is coming and I need to rid myself of some blanks! Happy to give you guys a good deal on my unpainted blanks. I will be in and out a lot over the next few months with a new day job but will be able to ship fairly well during this time. It just may not be 24 hour shipping for my blanks like my other stuff. My wife hates prepping the blanks for shipment and honestly does not know all of he components well enough to know what to ship with what...

So, here you go:

Nokken $5
Sea Cow $5
Sea Calf $4
Super Cisco $4 (Clear or red diving lip and silver or red hooks)
Mag Shads $6 (Straight lip or bent lip deep diver)
Dingo $6 (I have multiple tail and fin color options)
(Plus a little for shipping)

Happy to ship globally too. Just email me what you want and where you live to [email protected]

I will shoot you a PayPal invoice to pay and I will ship ASAP. You do not have to be a PP member to pay with PP either. They do take one time CC payments. Real easy. I am also happy to do bulk deals and can take off $1 per lure if you want 10 units or more of anyone of the above blanks. They have to be the same 10 though (example 10+ Mag Shads).

Real fun to paint these up with your kids or just for yourself. As most of you know, there is just something about catching a fish on a lure you made and/or painted yourself.

PS-When you are done painting the lures, please post pictures. I may have to send the best of the best a prize

Wish I had just a pinky of talent some of you have! Amazing some of you can get that 3D depth in a paint job. Some guys in MI also foil the Mag Shads and Super Ciscos and those also look real cool.

Thanks guys! Great response to the offer!

Post your pictures and I will put up a short contest in early 2013 with some customer paint jobs. The winner will get a $100 credit with us for lures, blanks or rods.

Always fun to see the paint jobs you guys do!!! James

Is this where we are supposed to post the pictures of the baits we ordered for your contest/offer??
This bait isn't quite done, but I wanted to submit this sneak peak pic I took with my phone of one of the Sea Cows....I'll add the good photos tomorrow probably.

Awesome paint work. I can't compete with that because of the time involved and I just don't have it to spare. I live in my man cave enough as it is. I did a couple simulations for myself and a couple friends but just don't do it for public due to the work and time involved. Am working on one in chrome and am designing pattern as I go, no solid idea as yet.
Very nice work, lots of great talent on this board.

Wow, Crown him now.  That is an awesome paint job Paul.  It does appear to be many many hours of work.  Just curious, if you don’t mind me asking, how long does it take you to do a paint job like that?  How many steps/color changes is that?

I appreciate the compliments everyone...

Surprisingly, it doesn't take a lot of time or work at all. Many of my patterns took some trial and error to get the right color combinations in the beginning, but once I got them figured out it comes easy, its just a matter of layering, scaling and a little detail work....A good eye for color helps as well I have to admit. I do very little masking work or stenciling....most of the markings are done by hand with the brush. Pretty much the only stenciling is the gills (which I'm still not satisfied with and needs improvement) and scales. Realistically, those two baits probably took me an hour to paint....If I had a set up of multiple airbrushes, I could probably knock them out in half the time...Switching of colors and cleaning in between changes is what takes alot of time while painting BUT Most of the time goes into the clearcoat finish with my end product.

Again, thanks!

Only have a few of the Twitcher Mag Shad left. I think I have 5 or 6. Just an FYI. Plenty of the bent lip deep diver Mag Shads still in stock.
Thanks,
James

The Sea Cow/Calf has a tighter swing to it. WE moved the weights in towards the center so it would swing fast and erratic. IMO it helps the fish zero in on the lure easier and helps increase hook ups.
