What is your favorite soft tail glider? Im thinking about buying a bigger glider. Some of the baits i have been looking at include the squirrely mag hellhound, phantom soft tail in 10 inch, squirrely burt, beavee chew bait, squirko, and A&L tailwalker to name a few, but im not sure what i want to go with. Whats your guys favorites?

X2 on the Modivator! Best baits hands down and Ben can custom paint anything you want. Great guy to work with!

x2 on the muskie treats. My personal favorite soft tail glider. Don't own a mag, but hopefully soon, at least before the water gets really cold. Great action on the treats

for a sick soft-tail glider check out Kodiaks soft-tail assasin! sick action, killer paint and awesome belly roll. He has 2 versions deep and sub surface. bait can be walked side to side as well as jerked hard for erratic action. I have both and they are bad @$$!.. kodiak post some pictures you crazy norwegian!

I like Phantoms, but to be fair I haven't tried the other ones mentioned. I mainly use the 6" and 7.5" so I can't give you any help on the 10" version.

If you would want to downsize rather than go up in size, the 4" soft tail is a good choice. I got to play around with one for a few hours on and off this year and it works as well as the 6" and 7.5" models. I was also using 14" x 130lb fluoro leaders, which have always made it difficult for me to work small gliders.

Squirko and soft tail phantom are great, if someone tells you a squirko doesn't have good action they don't know how to use it.

A Modivator is a Glider I make one of my Favorites not because I make them but because they run very well.

Thanks for the compliments

As he should be. It's a post discussing something that he has chosen to try and make his living by selling. Anyone with half a mind for business would look closely anytime their product is mentioned. Ben is good people and the Modivator is an amazing bait. Very easy to work, gets down deeper than most other gliders and has a really great wobble as it sinks on the pause. Rip it hard to turn it sideways then let it do the wiggle = WHAM-O!

I also like phantoms, hellhouinds and my own basement creations. Never thrown a squirko or a treat so I cannot say one way or the other.

Yours Truly,
Forrest Gump

10" Hellhounds for higher in the water column and 10" Phantoms for deeper. Both are great!

I'll second that. Will run deep or shallow and has an incredible wobble. I've had several strikes on the deadfall. Unfortunately I didn't discover these until right before the water heated up. Can't wait till the water cools to start throwing them again.

Kind of surprised no mentioned the muskybuster super AP. Thoughts on the AP? I know the company isn't around any more, but there are a bunch still out there.
