| I had a raise fest yesterday. I probably raised 10 fish in like 6 hours of fishing. What's the most you guys have raised? I'm just curious if this has happened to any of you. |

2 different things in my book,
Raised 12-15 muskies several times and have boated a few of those,.......But one day 2 yrs ago, we SAW 28 fish on Vermilion in a 15 hr. day and only boated 2 of those ................. Stupid Fish!!

Location: La Crosse, WI | A couple years ago I went out by myself on a blue bird day. I had 12 follow ups in about 5 hours and didn't boat a fish. Had I known what I was doing with my figure 8's and how to read fish I probably would have boated a couple. However, it was a great day to be out on the water and a day I'll never forget. |

Location: Michigan | I've had days at a local lake where I personally have raised 30+ fish. It also is a very clear lake (usually 15' vis) so most of the time the follows mean nothing as the fish aren't interested in eating. |

Location: Bemidji, Lake Vermilion | Raised 14 in around 1hr 15min one day last year. In a single day over 20 but less than 30. By raised mean following baits.
I've "seen" numbers approaching Pointers 122 in a long day on Vermilion, flat calm and sunny, small reefs holding as many as a dozen fish, larger reefs getting close to triple that. Absolutely lethargic fish not moving an inch for any reason. You could get right up to some and touch them with your rod and they still wouldn't swim away. Cool way to "see" your largest fish though, sometimes over a half dozen 50+ at one time within sight and then the "one" that stands out amongst all the rest.
There are times on days like that we don't even fish, but just go look at eye candy in an effort to decide which spots we'll fish at peak times or after dark. Can even work well in some smaller weed areas vs reefs. |

Location: Lino Lakes, MN | The best day I've had for seeing fish was also the most frustrating day I've ever had on the water. Fishing LOTW in 2009 with my brother, we had to have raised nearly 75 fish in a 12hr day without boating a single one of them. It didn't matter what we threw, what color, what speed, etc...they just wouldn't eat. The next day was a different story as my brother caught his first 7 muskies ever during a 3hr window, with the 2 biggest being 44.5 and 46.5. I didn't catch a single fish that day, but watching my brother catch his first muskies after 3.5 years of trying was one of my favorite experiences on the water. Oddly enough, the fishing shut down right after that 3hr window and we didn't see a fish for the rest of the day. |

Location: Maplewood, MN | The most I've personally moved is 3 in a day. I've had numerous occasions where a fish will follow 6-8 times in a row without eating. Very frustrating. Then again, these are city fish. |

No disrespect, but I always scratch my head when somebody tells me they have seen all these fish on a certain bait and it comes to nothing in the boat. I always figure after about 3 follows, something isn't quite right and take a new tact. Another reason to never throw a glider.  |

| Partner and I had 25 follows last weekend. Had 2 eat but got off. Yes, gliders brought in the majority of the fish but they also were chasing twitch baits and blades. Everyone we talked to that day had the same results. The fish were just off enough that they would not eat, just follow. Hope that pattern changes.

Lots of days over 50 follows.

Location: Madison, WI | 140... Canyon Lake, Ontario (July 1989). Lost the exact count after a while, but I think it ended up near 140. Had three different times that day where there were multiple followers on the same cast.
About 460 total follows for the week. But Canyon isn't really known for the quality of fish as much as the quantity of fish.
Personal bests in terms of single day follows from other waters...
LOTW: 35
Rowan: 18

Sorry, that was my first year musky fishing and wasn't an expert yet like you guys! Legitimate point though that obviously was not thought of at the time. Sorry I mentioned it.

| I would say highest would be 30-40 fish up in a day. Had numerous times when I have had two fish follow one bait at the same time...more so in the spring on hardbaits abnd in the fall on suckers.
I had three follows on a mag dawg cast once with two high 40-inch fish and a low 40-inch fish. Came back around on my icon and hooked up with one of them...of course it was the low 40's!!
I would think this question is extremely relevent to the waters you fish. Three follows in a day on a low density fishery may be very good... but on lakes with a high density of muskies it would be quite poor. Also, If your technique is primarily trolling...you probably have not had many days with multiple follows. |

| on opening day over the years here in metro we average 40-45 follows myself/dockisin/kroupa but by the next day sunday,,its down below 20,,anybody who says they dont get conditioned or lure shy is dead wrong |

| We had a day on Eagle where we raised close to 30 fish. Tried Double 10's, Double 8's, Top Raiders, Depth Raiders, Suicks, just trying to get them to eat something, ANYTHING... We did put 3 in the boat that day and lost two others, but it was every spot. Exciting day for sure. |
