Posts: 897 | I really hope it's Herbie up on Eagle with a giant. That lake is due to pump out a 55-60 pounder! Realistically it will come from one of the trolling boats out east.

Posts: 202 | I wish St Clair would but lets be honest 50 pounds is not enough for the biggest of the year. I think 60 pounds out of the St. Lawrence

Posts: 20188 Location: oswego, il | Guest took my guess! I am going with shoepack lake. It will be caught on a topwater as this fish will be seen swimming with it's head out of the water. Edited by ToddM 5/9/2012 12:39 PM

I'm thinking St Lawrence because it keeps producing every year, but hoping St. Clair because that's where I'm going in July. Otherwise, I think it will be the Fox Chain of Lakes;)

Better question might be which body of water has more fish get bopped now that we have a modern day record system. Less than were killed with the previous system. HThe modern day record system has been in place for a number of years already.

Green Bay will put out another 55-60 lber like it does every year. Hardcore guys up there just don't report it anymore with all the pressure it brought to the bay.
