Ok let's get a final roll call, who's in, and who's out.

As I understand it, this is the game plan unless anyone would like to offer alternative ideas?
* Meet at McDermitt's at 6:30am'ish
* Start fishing at 7am
* Possibly hook up for lunch at 11am or Noon somewhere to be determined Saturday
* Meet back at McDermitt's at 4pm to wrap up, concede to the winner and have a few cocktails

Rules:
1. 30" Minimum
2. Measure to the nearest 1", round up from 1/2" and down from under 1/2"
3. 4 points for 30" and 1 point for each additional inch over 30"
4. Teams that tie, split the pot.
5. 50% of the pot to the longest fish

I am out. Got to handle kids sporting events (they take priority). I will be having a personal MF outing solo on Sunday morning.

Hey Luke,

My partner and I are in dudenick. The weather looks pretty good for Saturday. I am going to launch out of Bobs however. I'm getting tired of kissing that rock pile that sits out in front of the launch at McDermits! See you then!

Mike,

A reminder since you couldn't remember when I saw you launch at McDermitt's at the Spring FRV Tourny. Take your tie downs off the boat before launching.

I'm in.... Will have my brother fishing with me. Hope the boat holds up, almost lost the trolling motor in the lake last time, brackets gave out. Going to run by triangle sports early to get some suckers if it is not going to be too windy. Should be at ramp by 6:30. Sounds like a good time.

Slamr/Lunchie- are you guys bringing a radio or cell phones to talk while on the water?

See ya Saturday...

If someone has an extra one of those kiddie radio's I'd be much obliged to borrow it, otherwise my mobile phone is part of my body.

Is it $20/person? If so, how will you split winnings?

Thanks

The weather is going to be a little warmer on Sunday, why don't you all postpone this thing until Sunday so I can make it.

I will be there about 6:00AM. I figure that will give me enough time to drink a few cups of coffee to prepare for the day's fun.

Slamr,

If you have any extra plastic storage containers bring me a couple and I will pay you for them and also buy you lunch..... Also, anyone have any good way of storing your bucktails? I just have them thrown into a plstice container and they tend ot get all tangled and you really can't get a good look at all of them quickly.

Thanks

Niel

Doc,
I think I have at least one extra, and you have another one of mine. I put my bucktails in them, and just leave them in the boat for the drive home, dries 'em out. Don't worry about the tails, its BIG WOOD N' PLASTIC TIME!!!

Slamr
*call me tomorrow to remind me to bring you that extra one.

Doc,
2" X 2" white PVC downspout tubing is available at Home Depot, Menards etc... in 10-14 foot lengths. Cut these in 12" lengths and use PVC cement to glue them together in a honeycomb configuration. I had a 4 tube deep by 35 tube long config that ran across the back of my LUND that held all of my baits. Easy to see your baits, easy to store your baits after use.

You can make this as "honeycomb" as big or as small as you'd like based on your room available in your boat, hatch, etc.... It's excellent for bucktails as they dry out after use running from one spot on the lake to the next. Hope this helps.

Me and TONE will undoubtably be in the boat with the LOWEST possible boaters blue book value, yet I have confidence that we will outfish the masses. Barring that, I am hoping to not sink.

Slamr,
It may be true about the blue book value but I can bet my boat will be the dirtiest of all. Any money for the dirtiest boat?

Hint (from experience): a livewell that previously contained suckers, when not cleaned out will stink up a garage!!!

DaveP it may also lead to the death of your new suckers. The bubba bass community has developed a biodegradble sanitizer just for your stinky livewells. Apparently if you santiize your tank with this stuff and then put a few cap fulls of another product which is blue in the new tank of water your fish will stay much healthier.

It looks like it's gonna be windy tomorrow, I'm not dropping suckers. What if your livewell stinks of Musky? [] Good or bad?
