Ok,... What is the biggest fish , other than a Muskie that you caught while muskie fishing??? and on what lure ??
I boated a 7-8lb catfish on Cave run while casting a Shallow raider. and a 6lb Large Mouth Bass on petenwell using a Cady Weagle.
My daughter boated a 30" Walleye on Vermilion while casting a Phantom about 4 yrs. ago. Very cool stuff, How about you??

I caught a 55” Lake Sturgeon while jigging a Bondy Bait on the Detroit River (snagged it in the tail). It took close to 20 minutes to get her in. It was my first sturgeon that I boated so after that day I took up sturgeon fishing.

I caught about an 8lb largemouth last May. I didn't have a scale to get a weight, but it was 25". I broke my personal best for bass twice that day and lost one that was comparable. I also boated a pickeral in the mid 20s, a tiger in the upper 20s, and lost a little spot right at the boat that was in the low 20s. Best day of mixed-bag fishing I have ever had, and all of my action came in a two-hour period. If I ever had a "Groundhog Day" situation where I could relive one day over and over that would definitely be it.

hmmm.... at least a half dozen walleyes over 28" largest was a 29.5" on a depth raider, 3 22"+ Lg mouth largest was pushing 8lbs and ate a weagle, dozens of pike over 40" on anything you throw and a 22" smallie on a M/G.....but the biggest was a snagged 60LB+ grass carp snagged on a 10" jake. For about 5 seconds I though I had a WR!

I boated a massive carp on a polish perch. The fight was around 15 min. Peeled almost all the line off my reel. Figured it to be close to 30 lbs. Best fight I've ever had, also the ugliest fish.

Yes but... Not many in freshwater that you can regularly get 10 pounds of meat off after you fillet them....a 47" muskie however tastes good and feeds you for a week! Plus when they are that big taking the y bones out is very easy.

They're not 'Y' bones at that size, more like Wish Bones. Enough to go around for the kids as party favors.

My brother got this 30# Buffalo fish, trolling a Swimm Whiz at 4.5 MPH.
Took quite a while to get the hooks out of her mouth, as she had inhaled it.LOL

Caught an 140 lb. tarpon a couple of years ago. While I was reeling that big boy in I kept thinking how great it would be if muskie grew as large.

In the summer of 2008 I got a 46" northern on Mille Lacs on a dawg. I was actually disappointed at first when I saw it wasn't a muskie.  Good release but I managed to cut my thumb on the teeth of the fish very badly.

Here's a giant smallie I caught out of the Eagle River Chain fishing the Pro-Mac event last summer.  Crazy story. I just released a shorty I caught on a Baby Depth Raider. I had to replace the rear hook and afterwards, threw the bait off the side of the boat. I picked up the rod, gave it a pull to make sure she would swim true and just at that moment, in 2' of water, this pig slammed it! Awesome..
