Ok, I will be the first to ask. Does anybody have any fact or rumors where the PMTT is going in 2012. I just found out I have to have my vacation schedule in by Jan 5 and need some dates. The only thing I have heard is the event in April is at the end of the month. Anybody?

The only dates that I've seen are for Eagle River June 23-24. Travelwisconsin.com and the eagle river chamber have them on their sites already. I've tried the pmtt phone number recently but haven't had any luck. The schedule should be up any day now!

+1 G-to-the-Rome. TBA turned into N/A last year, so I'm a little hesitant to "trail up" if the MN event isn't going to happen.

Ya, I'm ready to jump in as a trail team,..... but I won't untill I hear some solid info on the last two events.
More than a few guys have a bad taste in their mounth when the Cass Lake event was a no go.

I can't see you and Denny going for crappy......It's to relaxing..........besides you'd miss all of the fun Dewy.

Still no info on the PMTT site for the last two tourneys..........Sure would be nice to know for the sake of planning.

MN does not issues permit till early 2012, the deadline for application for permits is 12/31/2011 I believe. So before the announce the trail they need the permit in hand, it could be issued early but most likely not. I would put money back to Cass, and the championship Madison or Pewaukee, maybe back to the river.

I would say MN would be on Leech. The championship I am guessing would be on Green Bay.

No permits applied for in Wisconsin on the championship
date and being a Saturday and Sunday, it won;t be in Mn.
My guess would be Indiana.

Only one lake big enough in Indiana to hold that tourney on and it's not even looked at as a musky lake, so Indiana is out.

Sounds like Denny and Dewey are growing impatient. I think it might be cuz the older guys don't have that much time to decide stuff anymore. Us younger, gook-looking bucks have a lot more time cuz there's always next year. Dewey cooks good though, so they will always include him....Denny?- not so sure! and, what is a crappie anyway, and does it play for the Bears?

The dates are on there site, just have not finalized the last 2 locations. My guess would be cass, and perwaukee/madison or a river system.

Marty. I'm the one that makes the boat look so Good!!! I catch a fish once in a while as well !!
I figure I still got a ways to go. My goal is " shot in the back by a jealous husband as I climb out the second story window.... when I'm 99 " and for all you young Bucks 99 is still a ways off !!!
Keep on eye on your wife's boys !! I hope mine don't read this...yikes !!
Anyway, come on Tim...where we fishin?

Please allow my very first post of the year to offer an apology. Yes, it is clearly Denny that makes that boat look good (sorry Dewey!) Next, I wish all you fellow tournament junkies a happy and a healthy New Year and hope that your new personal best will come with a judge boat nearby. I woke up this morning with thoughts that hooking up the boat for the first trip to Cave Run is really just 15 weeks away. Not too bad really! Marty Forman

I'm hoping this is the Championship in Wi. which leaves the 3rd event in Mn. at either Tonka ,Leach, Vermilion, or Mil lacs. Come on Tim, Give us the schedule.

no tournament in MN as of 12/29/11...i assume it's still open to additions since the Hartman, Wahl, and Schneider events aren't listed yet either.

phone call, leave a message ,pretty sure the person works at home during this time which I think delays the website update,,tell them you need to plan your time off during the coming year,,always worked for me.

Yes still open, and those are probably events that are already approved, they could be submitted and sitting on someones desk,

G-rome, no tonka in august, full with bass events, do not think you can pull and event in august there to many grandfathered in, Leech, Cass, and Vermillion posssible not sure they would approve the boat field size for July or August on weekend for Vermillion, so If I were betting it will be walker areas

The MN event will likely have a different judging system as judge boat events are no longer allowed. That or going to a 48" minimum which I cannot see the pmtt doing. Waiting for a judge boat is now "possession" by MN dnr tournament regulations.

How do you know this to be a fact? And Why wouldn't the PMTT adapt to a Catch, Photo, Release format?
Where are the regs. regarding what your saying Peon ?
