Posts: 393 Location: Hopefully on the water | Not that I can think of. There is Gander and Fleet Farm but not any Good, straight bait shop only and musky shop around Green Bay. Maybe some day there will be.

Posts: 5874 | Second The Sportsman in Appleton. Great selection of muskie tackle. Right now, too. Just east of Hwy 41 on the north side of Wisconsin Avenue. Edited by Shep 12/20/2011 1:14 PM

Posts: 89 | As of right now there is no decent musky shop in Green Bay, but in early spring of 2012, Smokey's Musky Shop will be opening another store in Green Bay. Smokey's On The Bay will be a full line musky shop and will also carry walleye, salmon, bass, and other multi-species gear. They will also be running a full service guide staff covering the waters of Green Bay and beyond.

Posts: 134 | A big thumbs up for The Sportsman. Pete's a good guy and they have a good selection for musky fishing. They also have some terminal tackle for you builders out there. I pick up some odds and ends from those guys and they are always looking for input on products so they share with others and keep quality on the shelves. I try to buy from them whenever possible, they are pretty competitive with the big guys.

Posts: 25 | Stopped in at the future Smokey's on the Bay today, shelving is up and it seams to be progressing well. It will be great to have a dedicated fishing - tackle - bait shop in Green Bay again, especially being affiliated with an already established operation a good as Smokey's. Best thing is it's only 5 minutes from the Metro Boat Launch. www.layinalineguideservice.com

Posts: 512 Location: Appleton | I'd add my vote for The Sportsman in Appleton as well. Great shop but they kinda win by default since there isn't much for musky stuff in this area.

Looking forward to a new sport shop in Green Bay. Been a long time and musky tackle is a plus, also another plus is they have fishing guide connections. Thanks for the heads up! Muskyman1

Smokey's On The Bay will be a full line musky shop and will also carry walleye, salmon, bass, and other multi-species gear. Is Smokey's now carrying products made outside of the U.S.?

Posts: 152 Location: Nowhere near where I should be | Sportsman is where its at , if you don't see something and are interested Pete will help you out. as far as the reel shot they laughed when we mentioned musky gear not to long ago and said there wasn't a demand glad to here they changed their tune, still couldn't compete with Pete. Thats what we need, more guides on the bay, silly.
