| I like it other than I seem to get more backlashes with it than other lines...but I could just suck. Word of warning, it dries out very quick so watch out on that first cast or your thumb will pay! It was worth a try, but I'll likely just go back to Tuffline XP when this line is toast. |

Location: West Metro, MN | I put it on a Toro 60 this year and so far so good. Very smooth casting so far. I have previously used Stealth and this compares favorable to that. |

Location: N.FIB | I put it on a luna and a calcutta te,the luna within ten cast it backlashed so bad I had to cut it out,might not of been tight enough don`t know,the te ended up backlashing bad enough I took it off that and went back to cortland masterbraid.I`ve had the best luck with cortland master braid so I think I should just stick with that line and quit trying other stuff. |

Location: Ludington, MI | Great stuff for me. I cast all day on St. Clair with no backlashes with a fresh spool of it. It hasn't acted up any more with age, either. I did have some trouble with lighter stuff on spinning tackle, but I'm sold. I've recommended it to all my friends for baitcasting. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I've been using it for most of the season this year and it has worked well. I haven't noticed any backlash issues, seems to be smooth and give good casting distance. It did bleed green a little bit the first day of use. Nothing like the old Powerpro but it did bleed a little. Seemss to be a pretty dry line. Yes, it will smoke your thump on the first cast of the day with a heavy bait!
I used Cortland Masterbraid the last couple years and really like that as well. I'm not sure if one is better than the other but both have been very good lines for me.

Location: northern indiana | No backlashes for me either. I put 10yards of 20lb mono for backing and 150yards of 80lb 832. Absolutely love it. One thing to make sure is to put it on as tight as possible. |

Location: Oconto Falls, WI | I like it a lot. Was a Tuff Line XP fan before this. 832 is very similar to TL, but much more dry. It is a great line, and all my reels from here on out will have it. |

| It's an alright line, i have it in 65lb.
It looses slot of color, it's really nothing special.
I prefer Tuf Line XP, best braid on the market! |

Location: Columbus, Georgia | I was considering replacing all of the Masterbraid on my reels with 832. After reading these posts about backlashing ... I will take a pass. I seldom backlash with the Masterbraid. I'm not going to press my luck. Masterbraid has been very good to me.
It's easy to get caught up in always looking for something better ... at least when it comes to anything and everything Muskies! |

Location: oswego, il | I put 832 on my penn reels and did something I could never do previously. Use it in below freezing temps. I really like the line so far, I have not noticed any more backlashes with it. |

832 is one of the best braid I have used, it does not hold water like other braids do and is so so smooth going though the rod guides NO NOISE !!!!!
It does loose color but what braid don't ??????? |

It does loose color but what braid don't ???????
OFC all braids loose color but my dark green 832 had gone pale green, nearly white and alot of my friends are having the same problem.
Tuf Line XP doesn't loose anywhere near as much color. |

Location: Ludington, MI | Yeah, sounds like there's a lot of people promoting other lines rather than talking about their experience with 832 to me. Great line, sticking with it. I had a spool of it last fall and I've been happy with it. When I backlash ANY line, it's generally me not paying attention to my line tension setting, casting into the wind and not thumbing the reel as the lure nears the water. It's not the arrow... |

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160 | The most important thing to me about a braid is how much water the line holds, I hate wet hands and 832 does not hold water, also it is smooth going though the rod eyes, and no fraying and 832 does that better then any line I have used !!!! I could care less about color, if my hands stay dry and and it holds its strength, don't fray and is smooth, no line noise I'm Happy. Also this line since it is so smooth will out cast any other line that I have used also.
If U backlash then I will bet U that U have overfilled the spool of the reel and the line is loose on the spool. At the end of each day I will let all the line out in the water running back to the dock with the boat at speed and rewind my line tight back on the spool for the next day of casting. |

| I have noticed that 832 loses its color faster than most other brands. It seems to cast farther, its pretty smooth and doesn't hold as much water. The roundness of the line seems to dig deeper into the spool if you are one of the unlucky ones to get a backlash though. |

| Hate it. Digs in worse than any other line I have ever tried. Pulled it off of 2 reels so far. Actually had to cut it off one of them. When it's wet it seems very soft which may attribute to the digging. Also it bleeds like crazy. |

| I ought to try this stuff if people are saying it holds less water. I was out before sunrise this morning, and between the dew and the water my line was holding my hands were soaked and very slipper. I got somewhat distracted talking to the guy I was in the boat with and had a 46 incher pull my rod right out of my hands! Dang near had to go swimming to get it back, but we got the fish in the net.

Location: Madison WI | IMO Suffix 832 is a great line. I am running it on 4 rods and I have regular suffix on the other 5. The 832 holds less water than any other line I have tried and I have used Power Pro, Tuff Line regular and XP, stealth and cortland master braid. I have also noticed that it is much quieter and I can cast it further. I have noticed that the 832 does bleed some but nothing like some of the other braids I have used and from what I have seen this hasn't compromised the integrity of the line. I have had a couple of backlashes with it but I haven't noticed that it is digging deep or to the point where I had to cut the line off the spool. |

| Just started using it this year and I like it. It's very dry cast well and I haunt had any backlash problems. I may put it on all my reels come fall. |

I had enough of that years ago with that rotten Power Pro. Took me hours to scrub that dye off of the deck of my boat.
It's interesting that there can be a dozen posts about this line ... and only one guy mentions that the stuff bleeds?
Muskyhunter24 ... did you mean that the line becomes faded quickly? That's a completely different story than the line bleeding color onto everything in sight.
Never experienced such difficulties with Masterbraid.

I have noticed that the line gets a lighter tint of green so yes I meant that it is fading, I haven't had any of it "bleed" like you are describing and I have been using it since this season opened. |

| As i stated above about how much i don't like the 832, i wanted to expand a little on the bleeding aspect. It bled so bad, my shirt was covered with small green specs, the boat was covered with it as well. i should have taken some pic's, but it bled like no other line i have ever tried. It was quite messy. Wasn't hard to get off my shirt or boat, but i couldn't believe how many green spots all over the white casting deck on my boat. If it was red it would have looked like i slit my wrists. I have also found that it cuts pretty easy too. I was tying on a new leader and basically just knicked it with my knife and it immediately cut. Maybe i got a bad spool, but i bought 3 different spools and 3 different times and it seems the same on all of them. Their performance braid is much better IMO. |

| I bought it only to find it was made in Taiwain. I prefer to support made in North America products like Cortland and Power Pro etc. Just my opinion. |

Location: midwest | I have not experienced the bleeding on this line. I have noticed it lost color quickly compared to the older performance braid, but this has become my favorite line to fish. I have it on 6 reels and none of it bled. Maybe there is some out there with excess dye? |
