Posts: 21 | Zach thats a nice fish!! The Tiger is not a River fish its a lake fish!! I prefer fishing the Rivers!!! Ok let me back up up !! I want to see any Skis caught from you guys in July..I dont care if they are only in the single digit length. Trust me the day I stop feeling good about catching one under 40 is the day I stop fishing for them..Regardless of size its a giant accomplishment!! So lets get some pics going!!!

Posts: 68 | Caught my first Musky on 7/14! Tiger, 42", 19ish" girth. I caught it on a black bucktail with double #8 copper indiana blades that I made. It was 11:30am, overcast skies, light rain and choppy water. I was only out for about 20 minutes when it hit. Got to my spot, cast 4-5 times, and wham! Clean bite, fast release, fish swam away as soon as I got it back in the water. Next day I caught a 41.5" Musky in the same spot using an 11" weighted Suick, black sucker pattern. Was only out fishing for about an hour. Another mid-day catch, about 12:30 in the afternoon. I didn't get obsessed about Musky fishing until about 4 years ago. Only go up North WI a couple of times a year, maybe 7-10 days total a summer. Thanks to all the great info here, and watching many videos, it all came together for me! Posts: 21 | IAJustin the head on that thing is killer!! All great looking fish and I am glad to see you lucky birds that live up North are doing well. Here in PA River surface temps are 80-84 which flat out sucks!!! Rain is needed for me to get after them in the River so I may target some Tiger action in the Lakes!!!

Just open the picture in the 'paint' program, go to 'resize' in the top left corner or in the edit tab, and then just make it smaller.

Posts: 468 Location: Not where I wanna be! | I had an opportunity to fish LOTW for the first time this last week. I have dreamed of fishing for muskies there since I was about 10 years old and finally got the chance. I know I'm repeating how a lot of you who have already been feel about that place, but it was everything I ever dreamed it would be. As far as I'm concerned, it is the coolest place on earth! Loved every minute of it!! Gotta figure a way to get back there this year somehow.... Anyways, I was fortunate to completely fulfill my dream by catching my first LOTW muskie, she measured 44" and actually ate on the 10th time around on the 8. She worked me over and I about gave up when she pounded my bait. And yes, I was kinda fired up and during the excitement I managed to split the inseam out of my rain pants... Posts: 313 Location: Bemidji, Lake Vermilion | Here's one from my bro. 56.5 incher from earlier this month. Not the best photo, but its the only one holding the fish that turned out at all. He really deserved to catch a fish like this and to watch her swim away. Now we've just got to give her time to make it to 57 so I can catch her and beat my bro at the same time. Its embarrassing having your little bro beat up on you with fish like this! I've got to regain some honor! ![]()

Checked off 2 of my goals this season on my first fish of the year...beat last years biggest and get a sunset musky....50.75 x 19, first fish of the year! Second fish an hour later - I thought she was 50 when she went in the net because of how fat she was....44.5 x 19.5. Buddy stuck a 3rd a few hours later....his first fish ever....50 on the nose! Epic night.
