| Realizing and admitting that you have a problem is truly the first step!! I also have this problem. Now that I have admitted it I feel so much better! I think I'll go Muskie fishing this weekend! Acually my problem is I havnt caught enough this year. Mabey my problem is I don't have enough time to go? There I said it !! I need more time!! Do they sell time at thorne bros?

To make matters worse, I sometimes sleep 3-4 hours a night during the work week so I can spend the afternoons chasing the mighty ski. I am the worse of the worse because I also have contracted the "lure hoe" issue that goes along with the problem.
So many baits, so little time......

I never thought of that but my most expensive set of clothes is my rain suit also...haha. I've got 5 lures coming in the mail as we speak and I probably won't use them, so yes I definetly have a problem.

My name is David. I also have a problem. The problem got worse when my wife and I bought our first boat this fall (2004 Ranger).
I often justify buying things by convincing her that they serve mutliple purposes. For example, when we start a family, we can use the bump-board to measure our child until they exceed 60 inches. At that point we will go to the wall like most families.
I don't want help, just a fishing buddy. |

My friend turned me on to it 3 years ago and I've been hooked since. 14 muskies under my belt in 3 years and a substantial amount of time on the water. In my mind, I am just beginning to scratch the surface on what this musky game is all about.
Maybe I am an addict already. People have told me that's all I talk about. I guess I don't see the problem.

| Hi, my name is spoon but I don't think I am a musky-holic. Maybe I'm just in denial and haven't gotten to step one in the recovery program yet. I do know that I am a musky lure-aholic. I'm not taking all the blame for this disease though. I'm blaming the darn musky and lure manufacturers. So many musky and so many pretty lures that are just begging to be thrown.

I dont spend enought time on the water, 40 hrs a wk isnt enough. money, well we muskie fish so theres never enough. especially when everyone wants a 621 lol. but gota little girl im looking to turn into a musky freak aswell- looking to do some guiding next year- gotta love the expression on someones face with there first fish, first 30 lber, ect....... it really gets in your blood! tight lines to all fellow addicts! |

| I too believe I have a problem. I just bought $90 worth of plastics that i will not even be able to throw for 7 months. Do I care? No. It was a good deal and I can't wait to organize them in the tackle storage system that I am building in the boat this winter. I am fine. Really! |

Eventually you'll lose the high and have to fish just to feel normal. You'll know you're there when the people in your life ask if you're grumpy just because for some reason you are unable to get a fix. You'll lie and say no. Then a friend of yours will make a score and you'll get even grumpier. |
