Hey everyone. I see some of you had checked out my first post on this site. I would like to thank the ones who took the time to check out my handmade spinning lures on my own site www.homeofthebraveoutdoors.com.

What's with the giant split ring connecting the hook on those baits?

Dont worry about those. These pics are older and the lures are prototypes. I just used the split rings to complete the lure for testing and pics. There are proper rings on them now.

Might want to go bigger than 1/0 hooks on a 9 1/2" lure...

Yea, for sure. Like i said, these pics are older and are in prototype mode. All of my large lures like this sport the 4/0 treble. I know you guys are just gonna tear me apart since Im the "new guy'', but whatever it takes to get some recognition! LOL. If you guys have more questions, feel free to ask. Thanks!

Just some side notes on your site:
1) On your lure pages the back drop for the text makes it hard to read against the camo background. Maybe make them white backgrounds for the text.
2) Try making the pics and text even and not all jumbled up. Maybe put "like" lures on one page and then make another page for other "like" lures. (cranks, bucktails, etc)
3)Maybe add some boarders around the text boxes and pictures.
4) Most of your pictures are cut off on the edges. I realize you can click on them but a lot of customers like to look and go not have to click on every picture to look at the lure.

Not trying to dog you, just a few point IMO to help out your customers experience on your website. Hard for me to talk too much. I made my own websites and they need some work too! LOL

On a good point, great prices and it looks like you have some unique lures to sell.

Thanks for the comment and tips on how to keep up a website. Websites are a work in progress. Of course, everyone who has made a site knows how much time and effort it takes to get one up and running. There are always changes being made, and to be made. I, for one, wish I had more time to make the "perfect" website, but I work a full time job, have a kid, and take college classes online. I'm always tinkering with the site trying to make it better but theres just never enough time to get it all done. And even if I did get it all done, there would have to be more changes. So yes, its on going, always. And for the pictures that have to be clicked on to enlarge, I made them that way so save space. If a customer wants better, blown up view of a lure or other product, its just a click away. I dont see anything wrong with that. If I made them a fixed picture that didnt really show everything, thats it, the picture doesnt get any bigger than that and they would have to get out the magnifier just to see it better. I give potential customers an almost up close and personal look at my work. Thanks again for the opinions, suggestions, and comments!!
