A good friend of mine just finished putting together a video clip of the Shadillac for the upcoming sport shows. I think it turned out pretty sweet as it really shows how well the Shadillac actually swims.

Tell your friend he can upload the video to upload.outdoorsfirst.com (server side encoding) and stream it in H264 from our servers with no watermark, embed it on your website, etc.

I will be in the same spot as always in Chicago, John Bette with Stealth Tackle will have them at the Milwaukee show. I will also be at Tinley Park, Hammond Indiana, Ohio Musky Show and the Minnesota Musky Show.

I am also curious about the depths it achieves casting. Would you compare it's dive depths and action to be the same as Kickn Minnows and Lifelike perch? Can you rip it and snap it like a the above mentioned baits? I love kickn minnows and Lifelike perch but instead of having 25 rubber cranks in the boat now all you need is one or two. Can't wait to pick up a few in Chicago. Great idea!

Awesome footage! I'm constantly amazed at the clips Lures In Action LLC puts out there ... waaaaaaayyy better than "poolside", or anything else for that matter. Really shows off the action from all angles (and a follow to boot!) Thanks for posting!

The bait can be twitched, jerked, ripped like any other bait out there. When I came up with the idea, I went directly to my good friend Nate, the maker of the Nate Baits. His work is top notch and his attention to detail is exactally what I was looking for. We worked on this bait a long time to get it "right"...I definately couldn't have done this without Nate.
The baits will be available in a 6 colors at the Chicago Show. Pearl White, Black, Shad, Carp, Fire Perch, and White Sucker with a black back and gold scale pattern.
The bait is 11 inches long and as of now is a sinker, floaters will be available very soon as well...but after the Chicago Show. The bait will get down about 6-7 feet casting, but it can also be counted down as well. Also the retrieve speed will also be a factor on how deep it will run as well. I have gotten it down to 10 feet on the retrieve or it can be retrieved about a foot under the surface. The bait is made out of solid plastic and has a rubber tail section. All these baits are made one at at time, which is a very slow and long process due to the four body sections. They will definately be fairly limited as production is such a slow process. At first the baits will be available through me and I will have them posted on my site as well after the Chicago Musky Show. After the shows, I will have the baits in a few retail shops as well.
And a final note, Todd from Lures in Action did the underwater footage and my good friend Steve Fiorio did all the editing work. They both do a great job and would highly recommend them if anybody is looking to get some footage done.

Troy, I dont know the specifics on trolling depth but i ran it behind boards in Greenbay with aprox 15-25 ft behind, and i did not hit bottom. Not to speak for Mike, but I would imagine you will see a larger version before you see a smaller version knowing him. I think those floating ones will be a big hit with the trollers when they hit the market.
I personally cant say enough about how durable this bait is. The amount of work and effort that went into this thing to make it right the first time was enormous. Especially considering the way things are done in todays market.

It looks very much like the Nate Bait that I have with just two less joints and a lip, definatly a good looking bait! Will they be priced similiar to Nate Baits or were you able to get the price down on them?

Very possible that it is the same fish. I had spent a full day video trolling, spliting the stage with The Musky Armor "Krave" and Mike Hulberts "Shadillac". In a 45 minute period I was able to get four seperate fish clips off a submerged point. Are they the same fish? Maybe? When you drag a fish off a point and come back 10 minutes later, could he/she have traveled 100 yards and staged himself/herself on the opposite side off that same point? If it is the same fish, I am going to see if he/she can be nominated for "Best Action Performance In An Underwater Video"! Can someone say "GRAMMY"!
Honestly, I felt that I had enountered two different fish(both quite nice)and the chance that one was going to eat on film was pretty good! Unfortunately, like most fish in clearwater, window shopping happens quite often. Still very cool footage obtained by a method done by few.

I just did a lot of "pausing" on the 2 videos. (My wife if also sick of the same music now!) I would definately say that is the same fish! Unmistakable scar. Would be cool if someone saw this vid and remembered catching her and tearing her face that way. Sure does look like a pig too! Hope you get her to eat soon, Todd! Nice job on the vid, and Mike: Nice job on the lure.
