Now this is my kind of thread! I catch the ugly gnarly beat up ones way more often than the pretty ones.

This is my ugliest Muskie. This 40"er was blind in one eye, and had about a 10 inch girth! I felt bad for tricking it into eating, as it obviously hadn't eat'n in quite a while!!

My wife's first...she was so happy. I was secretly hoping the camera would malfunction . The best thing was that it got her excited to fish more thats for sure.

Here is a nice fish but it was most likely mishandled in the past and had a big gash on the left side of the mouth.

Here is a beat up looking 49" from LOTW this year. I heard rock-oriented fish tend to look kind of beat up eventually, while weed-oriented fish are more "clean". Not sure if that's true, I just like catching them.

This fish was 48" but so skinny it looked like death. It hammered a 8" Wiley in March fishing Pa.

Mike, if you want to find pretty girls anywhere North of Wasau, you have one of two choices:

1. Bring them up with you
2. Bring a lot of singles. And maybe some Lysol and a wetsuit

This fish was ugly in a brutal, vicious, sort of way. She went 53+ with an attitude to match. Pure hatred.

This was the 3rd fish I caught in an hour off the same spot back in June '07. I think she was run through a chipper! The fish destroyed a Jackpot and faught like a freight train! I was afraid to take it out of the net because I thought the fish would fall apart!
