Posts: 157 | Hooked a low 40's on a bulldawg yesterday right at dark. That was all for the weekend, no sucker pick-ups or anything else. Rain/sleet all weekend which made it a touch miseraable. Put in about 6 hours on that water and had just one follow about 15 minutes after the lost fish. Grouse hunting and duck hunting sucked as well, but it's still better than sitting on your butt!

Posts: 153 Location: Antigo Wi. | Last chance yesterday to fish with my brother before he heads back to Iraq on tuesday morning, we moved 5 fish and put a 38" in the net on a sucker. Most of the fish were in the last hour of daylight. Probably would have fished later, but he needed to spend some time with the family last night

Becky and i ran up to Skyview on Friday night for the "unofficial" Presque Isle Outing. snowy winter weather, good fishing, and warm company made for a great time. the lakes and woods around PI are one of the prettiest places on earth. a small group this year, but things were cooperative for the group with 9 muskies finding the nets by Saturday night, including a couple of first fish and personal bests! we got a couple fish in the Tuffy once we cleared all the snow off, and my wife managed her first muskie ever: a lucky big tiger at that. Posts: 463 Location: Sw Pennsylvania | Fished 5 hours saturday mostly trolling only catching the over abundant leaf fish, they are running hard this year. Hit the water for 2.5 hrs sunday evening with an upper 30s fish missed and a 39" landed. Feels real good to get out of my slump with only catching the small guys the past month. Location: Twin Cities | Found a hot PB fish, worked it for 2-3 hours, finally got it to eat, completely engulfed a pounder, bait popped out on the hookset without a hook ever even starting to get put through flesh...how the FARK does that happen?!?!!!!

Posts: 880 Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | Fished the IMTT over the weekend. Okauchee produce only 3 fish on Saturday but Pewaukee had 27 fish caught on Sunday. 12 within the last hour of the tournament. We were lucky to double-up by half time of the Packer game but finished out of the payouts by 1/2". Size does matter...... Bruce

Posts: 194 Location: Southwest PA | Dave S and myself made the trip to Skyview as well. It was great to see and talk to some friends that we haven't seen in a while. Dave got his personal best for his first sucker fish. To quote Dave "That fish is a hog, son". Thanks to Adam, Danna and the rest of the crew at Skyview for such a great time. Posts: 281 Location: ROckford IL | Fished with my good friend Ben Rockey this weekend, I missed a upper 30's on a cowgirl the first ten minutes into the trip, then 20 minutes later we had a 38.5 hit a sucker and my friend Ben set the hook and we put that fish in the net, while that fish was in the net another musky decides to hit my sucker, I set the hook on that fish but missed it, had her on for a few seconds, missed two others on suckers but only one in the boat. Posts: 516 Location: Kildeer, IL | Had a real tough weekend in Boulder Junction. We fished through some miserable weather on Friday without any reward. Saturday was much more comfortable (not much rain), but we still didn't see a fish. On Sunday, the rain started again. On the way out of town, we hit two small lakes and caught two fish. The first fish was caught just outside a weed edge in 15 feet of water. It was caught on a bulldawg. The second fish was caught in 20 feet of water on a steep breaking shoreline. This fish hit a 10" jake, and made it look like a 2" jake. Attachments ---------------- fall09_sceneryH.jpg (220KB - 117 downloads) fall09_Scott45-5I.jpg (117KB - 117 downloads)

Posts: 24 | Hey, Nice job of the ski. My dad actually caught this fish before. July 3rd 2007, I believe it was 43" at the time. The scar on the belly matches. I'll keep the lake a secret;). Attachments ---------------- DSC00351.JPG (151KB - 120 downloads)

Posts: 661 Location: Roscoe IL | No secrets here.. Fished Nokomis in Tomahawk by the bridge thats off of Route L, right by Scheafers Warf. There is a nice drop off right after you go under the bridge heading into Honeymoon bay. Got my first Nokomis muskie on a sucker yesterday, measured 46". My camera froze up solid so no picture worth posting, only a foggy phone picture of it next to the bump board since I was fishing solo in the rain.. Had another pick up, but missed it. Lost one about the same size at the net. The launch stinks & water is low, but if you use the left side it's do-able with a roller trailer.

Posts: 1057 Location: Medford, WI | Headed over to Oneida Cnty in the snow on Friday late afternoon with my brother. 8 cars in the ditch between Eau Claire and Thorpe; after that it wasn't freezing so much. Used my free guide day with Gary Myshak on Saturday and we ended up with 2 fish (40" and upper 30's). Both of the fish were caught on Curly Sues, and we had one other follow that ended up grabbing the sucker for about 2 seconds and dropping it. Glad to get on the water one final time for the year with my brother; I wanted him to get a fish pretty bad, but he enjoyed being out there regardless. Gare's a great guy and will keep anyone entertained with his stories! I learned quite a bit about the lakes we fished and will put it to good use next year; Gary knows a lot about the structure he's fishing and where most every type of fish is at a given time of the year. We were over baitfish constantly. Hopefully get the pics up when I get back home tonight. Sunday, we headed back to E.C. and Minneapolis to watch the Packers dominate. I'll be out next weekend again...possibly on the Bay. Great fish everyone and Scott, if you didn't already get that picture in the Photo Contest, enter it! You should have a great chance of winning...one of the neatest shots I've seen in a long time. The scenery was pretty cool Saturday morning. -Jake Bucki

Posts: 516 Location: Kildeer, IL | Wow, the internet is a scary thing. I can't believe I can post a picture of a fish and within a couple of hours, someone says they caught that fish. Not only that, they have undeniable proof that they have. You can let your dad know that the fish is still doing very well. She grew 2.5 inches and is very fat. The head on her is unbelievable. Thanks for keeping the lake a secret. A guide showed me this lake 10 years ago, and he still fishes it to this day. I would hate for his little honey hole to get overfished. I actually caught my first muskie ever from this lake.
