Posts: 7080 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | I took a little while putting this one up to allow ALL of you to catch some great moments on film! Looks like some really amazing fish have been caught along with some great photos overall. Might be some fierce competition this month! Make sure to check out not only the rules below, but Okuma Fishing, supporter of so many MuskieFIRST events at http://www.okumafishing.com Pretty basic rules: A new thread will be started every month, and will be active for between one week and 15 days. Contestants will enter a picture (ANY picture related to fishing or muskies in some way) by posting to the Okuma Fishing Monthly Photo Contest thread. At the end of that week myself, Mark Rogers of Okuma (California_Muskie screen name) and Mike Winther (lambeau) will judge the pictures. Judging will be based on photo quality and presentation versus being judged soley on fish size. Pictures should be related to muskie fishing, but do not necessarily need to include an actual fish. Enter as many times as you want, but you can only enter each picture one time. ***SPECIAL CONTINGENCY RULE: The BEST picture submitted per month where either a person in the picture is wearing or displaying the Okuma logo or brand, or where any Okuma product is CLEARLY VISIBLE will ALSO be the winner of a special contingency prize. What that prize is going to be.....stay tuned! Fall may be a few months away but it isn't too soon to start stocking up on Okuma Convector and Magda linecounters for fatty trolling or sucker dragging. Also make sure to check out the new 8'6" XXH, 9'3" H, and 9'3" XH rods that have just hit the market! Once again thanks to Okuma Fishing for their continued support of MuskieFIRST and our users! The pike is a 36.5 that ate a Mag Dawg on my new Okuma 9'3" extra heavy.
