Posts: 1039 Location: North St. Paul, MN | What I think sets it apart is the underside and how it's "cut out" or however James described it on the website. I think this will be key in not having the hooks push up into the bait. Very much looking forward to trying mine out in 10 days on Lac Seul!!!!! James, I'll report back and hopefully send you some pictures of toothy critters caught on the sea calf and Mag Super D!

What? lol ummm thats the point of the Manta, side to side action like a dying fish. Let me know when you find a lure that breakdances on the water, cause I want one. Whats your opinion on bucktails? straight, straight. Im confused. James, is Aaron going to be carrying these?

I don't like mantas either, they have a very side to side movement that isn't as productive for me. A much more erratic glider is going to produce much better in my opinion.

It's only as boring as the guy with the rod makes it. It's up to you to change up your cadence and make that puppy dance! I think part of what makes a manta so good is how predictable they are. I can be fairly mindless about fishing it and know by the feel of the rod and slack combined with my input exactly what it's doing. Don't need to focus on the bait the whole time...

It's a sea cow - not a manta. But I like mantas anyways, they have a nice wide glide and very easy to work. The thing about the sea cow/calf is the colors look A LOT cooler. I'll definitely ordering a couple of each size. I think they look great James.

Posts: 692 Location: Pelican Rapids, MN | James, I know we butted heads before about some baits - But I just wanted to say that your color schemes on these gliders are ridiculously awesome. I could see pretty much every one of these colors in my boat.

Yeah, me thinks the same. I have a couple that I will be trying them out next time I'm on the water. I can't say anything about them yet but it looks like good action to me... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vMcRF-jX_8 James- these colors are wicked, I'll have to look into a couple of these baits in the near future. Nice job!

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | I don't have any unpainted blanks right now but I do have a lot of guys who buy lures from me and just re-shoot them. I have a few Mag Shads I had done for a buddy and they turned out very nice.

Posts: 24 Location: PA | I would love to see the 11" Mag Shad in a Striper and Bunker/Menhaden paint job. I'm more of a saltwater fisherman and that would suit me better. Or offering unpainted lures would be great also. ![]()

Posts: 572 | manta's have a clear plastic tail. These tails are painted, which give the lures a little larger image. "the belly on these lures with a hull like shape".........a manta copy???? looks like the seacow may be 5.75 oz

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | LOL I love the drive by "guest" comments here. ![]() http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=46... If you have a huge problem with anything of mine just email me and I am more than happy to talk with you. Funny thing is, most who have a problem with any of my lures are manufacturers or the guys getting sponsor money or guides getting free stuff from the manufacturers. I even have had one manufacturer who got mad at me for supposedly "stealing" his perch paint pattern! LMAO Only in the lure world ![]() James

Posts: 575 Location: WI | Looks like a great product james. I finally picked up some superd's and couldn't be happier. Nice to catch some fish and not have the tail barely hang on or the harness ripped out or exposed. I certainly appreciate the product. So, when are the new superd colors and shallow versions coming out?

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | New colors, sizes and MegaDs will be ready in about 2 weeks! Can't wait. My daughter has major surgery coming up at the end of June but I think that will not throw off the release date too much.

The Manta has been around for a long time for a reason.. it's a fine lure. If it wasn't all that good there wouldn't have been such a panic when there was talk about them being discontinued and James, as a business man, sure wouldn't have made his 'version' of the lure if it wasn't a great lure and seller. BTW, Your "Sea Herd" turned out nice James...
