Add your favorite musky shop or place near you with the best selection of musky gear.

My usual stop is R-n-H, but made it to Blaine for a soccer tourney last summer and FINALLY made it to Thorne's and was VERY impressed. The staff there was VERY knowledgeable and set me up with some nice TDRs with custom tips. I was really impressed the amount of product they're able to put in the square footage of that place...

Was down to Smokey's once and thought it was a nice shop with alot of character.

Not sure how many guys can say this but during my travels yesterday i hit Guides Choice, Kurt's on the Island, and Rollie and Helens. Then got up this morning and headed south stopped at Aquatic Arts in Tomahawk Then proceded south to Stevens Point to have lunch with my Daughter to find myself googling if there was any Decent tackle shops in Point. (Which i failed to find)
As far as a favorite i think each one has a strong point. I spend my fair share at the Sportsmen since it's the closest to me. But have no problem supporting the other shops up north seeing i 'm paying taxes up there also.
Each shop i visited in the last two days got $$$ out of me.

I second Thornes for the whole package but I voted for Smokey's Muskie Shop because its my club house. Everything you need with great people to help you get what you need. If I need it John will get it. Thats service. Why go anywhere else.

I share tons of info with Smokeys and they share that with everyone who asks for lake info. Most of the local guides share info and Smokeys is the "Barber Shop" or "Monkey Island" of Pewaukee Lake.

Honestly my favorite place is not on that list, at a musky show. Basically a combination of all of those with the addition of tons of lure companies and top guides all in one place....Heaven

Musky Tackle Online. http://www.muskytackleonline.com/

Aaron seems to really care about the customers.

Of course, Thorne Bros get some business on my way to Canada each year. Always enjoying stopping there and spending some money.

MTO, Aaron gets his products right out and I like the fact that you can see all the colors of the baits he is carrying. And Thornes for what he doesn't carry.

I also like the fact that at MTO you can see All the colors that are available for a bait that you want to purchase. Helps in the decision making process and leaves out any potential surprises on color schemes.

MTO. Thanks Aaron, you do a great job! Thinking about making an order soon. The urge is getting stronger as we near the 2009 season.

Reeds in Onamia is my #2 choice.

I voted MTO. Aaron does a great job keeping the site updated, is always there to help out, andthe free shipping on orders over $50 is great (we all know it doesn't take much to get over the $50 mark either).

Thornes and R&H are both awesome. Pastikas in Hayward is pretty good, and there's another one there (forgot the name) that isn't too bad either. It's been years since I've been to R&H, maybe I"ll get bored and drive over there (3hrs) one of these days before spring.

Put my vote in for R&H's but only because it wouldn't let me vote for two.  My other would be MTO.  I don't live near any decent bait shops that are less than 2 hours, so I order the majority of my stuff online.  These are the two best by far.  Why bother driving when these two will take care of you just like you were standing there!!!

Each store seems to shine in their own way. It's to hard to put a favorite on just one.

I put MTO because he runs the best website with the best servive! In my opinion that is. I do a lot of shopping at thornes as I go through the cities on my way north and love it. I also do a big order or two out of Rollie and Helens catalog every year as they have the biggest selection and really good service... basically it was hard to pick just one =).

My vote is for MTO as well....and Al Franken & Norm Coleman have wasted a ton of money showing MN that every VOTE counts.
Aaron and MTO can't be beat on prices. Service is top quality. Delivery is dependable and the missus has used the Gift Certificate feature on a couple of happy occasions. (i.e. Father's Day + Stink Pickle = 50+" p.b.)

Ross's Sport Shop in Phillips, WI is one that should not be over looked. It's not huge, but John has a lot lures (some custom) that are really hard to find anywhere else. For the size of the shop, the musky selection is fantastic.

Thorne Bros. It's the shop I have to stop at, when I get home to Minnesota. All the people there are top notch. They see me twice a year and still remember my name when I come in.

Rollie And Helen's is the best bait & tackle shop I have ever been to. They have fantastic equipment and are always so friendly! We always have the best customer service and to me that goes a long ways. I can't believe how the owner is actually in the store so often and working right with his employees...he is so nice!

We love their new website and the fact that they finally have some toddler clothing! My 2 son LOVES his Musky shop stocking hats - he has one in every color!

So I guess what I am saying is - THEY GET MY VOTE!
