Posts: 1636 | Wanted to share this new crankbait with everyone... Keith gave me one of his original prototypes to use before the shows this year. I'm very impressed from the short time I have spent using it and can't wait to get it out in the spring to target fish transitioning from the deep and into the shallows before the spawn as well as our murky rivers here in Illinois. Here is a little bit of information about the lure. I wish I could go out and take a short video clip, but everything is locked up! The Krisco is an extremely durable shallow diving crank-bait that is very versatile. The jointed Cisco shape gives it a unique flashy serpentine action. Built with a high buoyancy body, the Krisco really backs out of cover making it a top choice for casting shallow rocks, weeds, timber and flats. It comes with inner chamber rattles that create the perfect amount of sound to attract fish. The big profile, loud rattle, and knocking jointed action should prove to be a night fishing favorite. Trolling is what separates the Krisco from all other crank baits. The shallow running depth of the Krisco assures that you will be fishing above the fish and “in the strike zone”. Whether you're fishing spring timber, summer speed trolling, shallow rocks at night, or running slow in the fall, the Krisco delivers. I can't wait to give them a try on Shelbyville and back down on Kinkaid, especially in the spring! The Krisco is 9.5'' long, weighs 2.4 oz, and has three 5/0 hooks. 0'-4' casting and will troll up to 8'. Krisco's are available in 10 proven colors, 9 Custom Guide colors, and will be available in the Musky Armor/LLUNGEN Lures booth at the 2009 Muskie Shows. Be sure to check out our bump boards too Edited by Reelwise 12/23/2008 9:41 PM Attachments ---------------- KRISCO.jpg (99KB - 184 downloads)

Keep it jointed, make it 12", add a rubber tail and make a great cisco color and you may have creatd the perfect shallow rock (8' - 10') trolling bait... This bait look good, hopefully it'll be made bigger..

Posts: 1937 Location: Black Creek, WI | I'm surprised there isn't more "buzz" about this lure. I love the construction and am excited to try some out. I'm still a rookie when it comes to trolling, but I can see this will be a tool I will need. And the Jointed Depthraider has needed some competition for NIGHT FISHING... and from the looks of it, this might be the ticket. Maybe I'm more excited than others because I'm a crankbait junkie??? I dunno. But it seems that if it doesn't have a big blade or rubber tail... noone is interested these days. Oh well, I'm sure many big fish will be caught on this lure regardless. Congrats Llungen Lures on the new release.

if you are a crankbait "junkie"you probably know 1 thing, each year provide a lots of new cranks but they rarely match the old one.btw if you think depthraider need competition i think you miss at least a crank or two.

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | I had my hands on a few of these cranks and I believe they are the real deal. I will be stocking up on these cranks. Very versitile crank. Brandon did a great job explaining the bait. Kind of a mix between a Depth Raider and a Believer. Good deep sound of rattles and squared off lip gives it outstanding action. Shallow running will make this bait a hit over weeds and rocks. Looks like a winner to me!!!!

Posts: 812 | Looks like a good bait to me. To those who happen to have one, would you mind taking a picture of it next to say a tape measure? It's hard to get a "feel" for the size of it from that picture.

Posts: 120 | Brandon thanks for posting this. JLO & others. Our future plans are to make a shallow straight and deep divers in both straight and jointed off the same body style. one at a time. this runs way shallower than a depth raider, we wanted something that would fish over the very shallow rocks and weeds. As Aron said the Stock colors will be the same as our Krusher line up. We will have customs colors at the shows. including custom Guide Series colors from Chad Cain, Gregg Thomas, Mike Hulbert, and Dennis Radloff. plus some others im working on now. Any color sugestions are welcome!! Have a Happy and safe New Year!! see ya at the Shows!! Keith Musky Armor Attachments ---------------- 2008 krisco holo.jpg (70KB - 161 downloads)
