Someone posted pic of their 'bait wall' awhile back....got me thinking that it would be a good way to figure out which biats I can sell for lack of use and more importantly where I need to beef up my collection....I've seen some absolute sick collections and mine is modest...anyhow...

"Hi, my name is Rick"

"HI RICK!!!!"

"I'm here tonight because I have a problem...you see...I need more mid-sized twitchers."

Don't be ashamed. Admit your illness and post away.

That Bulldawg 2nd from the left has to be the ugliest bait in history, lol! Quite a wall of baits there though. I didn't even notice the 'tails in the picture at first. I could post mine...but first I would need to put them on a wall.

I would notice that I don't have too much of anything, need some more rubber, definately more crankbaits, have very few gliders and jerkbaits, need some more twitchbaits for spring, definately more than 1 double 10, could probably use a couple different types of spinnerbaits, and should probably add another Weagle or two just because.....ummmm, maybe some big trolling baits, and that should be it! Hmmmm....

Oh come on now, you're only 1 bait deep! You've got nothing to worry about. Get it up to about 3-4 deep and come back and talk to us and we'll find a nice painless 12 step program for you.

You've got to be kidding. If my wife ever knew how many baits I got I'd be living in the dog house. Keep them hidden in the box or your asking for problems.

I'm just glad I have my muskie buying under control.

I went through and counted 165 baits on my wall-that doesn't include the 1OO or so bucktails. So, I went through and pulled out 45 baits or so to sell. I thought I was making progress until I realized I had just bought another 4O baits. Ahh, it's a vicious yet fun cycle. A big part of the fun is collecting and trading baits.

My name is Mike and I have a musky bait problem. I have 24 of the 30 feet filled right now and haven't been brave enough to count how many there are. Chad Cain's garage is also insane. I don't know if the footage in one of the Badfish videos truly does it justice after seeing it in person. Just the amount of LLungen tackle is staggering.

I have never counted all my baits but , off hand I know that I don't have enough space to hang them all. My buddy that I got into muskie fishin says I am insane. I do know that I have 51 bulldogs counting all sizes,32 big joes,38 cowgirls/bucktails with double 10's. Besides that I have a mag lakewood full of surface baits,a mag lakewood full of jerkbaits, two big plano full of crankbaits, another big plano and a small plano full of my other bucktails and that is just what I take with me on trips. That does not count all the baits I have hangin in my house, nor does that count the hundereds of bait that I have build that are hangin in my shop. My bubby counted at least 15 baits that I have not even taken the price tags off of yet. I have been told by many people(some that are die hard muskie anglers) that I have a bait buying problem. In the end I end up only throwing a few baits an outing, but it is nice to have a good supply of back up baits and baits to back them up. Remember that you cannot buy one of a good bait or a good color but you need a couple incase you loose one.

I have posted these pics several times, but now intead of having four 4 x 4 boards, I am down to 3... For my casting baits that is. For my trolling baits, most are still in tackle boxes. I have them widdled down to less than 150 baits... Oh, but then there are the plano boxes with baits unter 7", which I have dow to 4... boxes that is. I have been able to sperate all my pike stuff out of this mess of muskie lures. I have those skinnied down to 9 plano boxes... I think I am making progress...

I have to say the best part of this is not how many baits we have but how many of them never get wet. I am as bad as anyone with hundreds of different baits but, for some reason, the same few keep coming out of the box. It’s definitely an illness.

Yes, Chad, but without your illness how would we all benefit from your posts on the Buy, Sell, Trade board???? HAHA! I've got an alarm on my computer that rings if Chadster posts a new thread in the Buy, Sell, Trade forum because there's bound to be SOMETHING good!!!! :D

In fact, I see about 10 baits on your left 4x4 board that I want... lol!

Holy smokes, Chadster!!! Do you have any extra Weagles you want to get rid of? My buddy has an Original Cady that is all beat up and he still won't let me throw the thing. That single lure has caught himself numerous fish over the years. Black body w/ whitish front.
I have still been unable to get a top water strike with any of my lures. Quite disappointing to say the least.
By the way, I only have 2 tackle boxes of lures. A long way to go, and a lot of money to spend that I don't have.
