Posts: 7119 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | It's hard to believe it's already August! But, this has to be considered the PEAK time that the greatest amount of muskie anglers are out hunting the waters for trophies....that can then be entered into the Monthly Okuma Photo Contest. Since the July contest ended there have been a huge number of big fish shots posted here (please enter those on this thread!) as well as some just great shots of fish and kids, fish and great poses, and overall good photos. Bring'em on! Make sure to check out not only the rules below, but Okuma Fishing, supporter of so many MuskieFIRST events at http://www.okumafishing.com Pretty basic rules: A new thread will be started at the beginning of every month, and will be active for between one week and 15 days. Contestants will enter a picture of a fish caught recently by posting to the Okuma Fishing Monthly Photo Contest thread. At the end of that week myself, Mark Rogers of Okuma (California_Muskie screen name) and Mike Winther (lambeau) will judge the pictures. Judging will be based on photo quality and presentation versus being judged soley on fish size. Pictures should be related to muskie fishing, but do not necessarily need to include an actual fish. Enter as many times as you want, but you can only enter each picture one time. Please make sure to check out the new Red Isis reel, the EvX line of rods and my personal favorite, the Induron reels. Thanks again to Okuma Fishing for their continued support of MuskieFIRST and our users! Posts: 406 Location: Stones throw away...finally!! | One of my fishing buddies taken this 4th of July weekend up north. Thought it was interesting how the rod was past the load up stage and the weagle (a little distorted due to the speed) can be seen flying right by his head. Don't think I could get another shot like that if I tried. Got it on my cell phone camera of all things. Attachments ---------------- Yeager Casting.jpg (85KB - 156 downloads) | ||
