EDIT -  Change due to some misinterpretations of my intended use of this post.  I was merely sharing a picture of a magnificent fish coming from an unusual place.  Sometimes this place gets a little too serious...

First let's have some fun. How big is she? No stretched arms.

48 max is my guess. Good girth, I'd say 22 or 23. Beautiful fish.

She looks pretty good, but maybe I don't have big enough screen, cause I can only see half the fish.
ps. IF IT'S THAT!! BIG !! SMILE NEXT TIME.

It looks to be 50. My question for you, tfootstalker is are you a fisheries person? I see that stock tank in the background. Are you out stripping egg? Can you give us an idea on how many pounds of eggs a girl that size produces?

What an ugly specimen!!!! I'll guess that sucker is about 5' 6" with a 32 in. girth. An obvious case of poor genetics. 165 lbs and far past its prime. as for the fish I'll guess the length at 45.75 and the girth 21.5 weighing in at just over 30lbs. The fish looks looks to be in great shape... much unlike its handler. Keep up the great work buddy see you soon.

Looks pretty big to me. I'd say 51"-52" and around 35 Lbs. Looks like a Leech lake strain, probably from one of the brood stock lakes around the Mpls area (late Meso, early Eutrophic) of less than a 1,000 acres. Looks pre-spawn, but could be late fall. Forage base is probably perch, suckers, bullheads and what ever else she could catch.

Looks like she was caught in a trap or fyke net during lake survey or perhaps in the spring for egg collection.
