I was very good this year, just one bait. The new larger fat boy found it's way into my hands. Registered for the whole MMTT, can't wait for the season to get here. The show was awesome seemed bigger and better than ever. Was nice to get out and say hi to some familar faces.

I got some Cowgirls, Supermodels, Curly Sues, two Pacemakers, a Super Humper, and a Phat Daddy. I was totally impressed with the Curly Sues....... finally someone that wants to make a quality rubber bait. The new cisco flash cowgirls are really impressive as well.

It was a phenomenal show. I picked up a 7000C3i, thorne bros rod, a couple of double 12's, 50% off believers, and the assassin mehsikomer was talking about.

I had a GREAT time at the show,I think it was the best MN Musky Show I have ever been to.

Paid my guide fee for Tanner Wildes, bought a Rabid Squirrel bucktail, shirt, and Creepenstein. Corey Meyer Globe, Weagle, 10 inch jtd Stalker (50% off!), 2 Mojo dbl maribou 10's (one was 50% off!), a large (wood before you can't find them anymore!) Pacemaker in the show color, a hook pick, the 2 new Musky Compendiums that Ramsell just put out, and one of the new plastic Slammers, and a few Musky Hunter back issues.

Awesome show, lots of deals to be had. Does anyone know who had the "girls dig my 50 incher" shirts? I didn't buy one and now I want one.

I got 2 11" Curley Sues and an 11" Suzy Sucker. I also picked up the baits I won from the Mojo/Pro Edge contest. They were a Mojo 10" Weagle and I also got the new Howie. I can't remember the name of it, but this one has an extra chunk of wood in the middle. It's actually a pretty big bait. All of these baits are pretty big actually. I was really impressed with the Shack Attack plastics. These are the first Curley Sues I've handled and not only do they look great, they feel like they will really hold up too - and I don't have to replace any hooks or split rings! I liked the stuff at Baldy's booth. The 10 inch weagle almost dwarfs the regular Weagle, which I thought was big already. The new version of the still new Howie really looks good too. I have a feeling it will make a fair amount of noise, can't wait to try everything out!

This is the first show I have been to, and it was great to see everyone from this site - Keith at Pro Edge, Baldy, Andy at Shack Attack, Lax, and all the others. I'll be going to more shows after this!

P.S. There is a smudge on the brown/white Curley Sue. It was the last one of that color, and Andy gave me a discount due to the slight discoloration. I'm sure the fish won't mind (sure as heck didn't bother me any) but you can really tell Andy is a team player in this game.

P.P.S. Post some pictures of what you bought guys! If anybody wants better/closer pictures or picture to compare the size of any of these baits let me know. That blue sparkle Curley really looks a lot cooler than this picture shows with all the glitter it has.

Overall... this expo was excellent... my first time there was wonderful...

Friday I arrived sometime after 4 and immediately started to "shop" around for deals... I met more than few people. Was enjoyable chatting with Keith (KT Pro Edge), Steve Jonesi, Mike Hulbert, and others... Brad Hoppe was very helpful when I was at his booth... I blew $1000 at the show... Paid off my "bill" for 2 custom rods from KT Pro Edge (got free hat), bought a nice 34x40 Beckman Net for $110, Bought a nice 7000iC3 reel for $100, bought 3 Cowgirls and 1 Pink/Pink Super Cowgirl, Bought 1 9'0 MH and 1 8'6 MH rods by Reaction Strike for $200 (got 2 free 8" Homewreckers w/ purchase) ... Bought 1 Magnum Topwalker and 1 Magnum LOWrider... bought Hookpick... bought a 2 years subscription to Musky Hunter (Got free visor)... I didnt get everything on my wish list... but I have the Thorne Bros' Annual Spring Sale to look forward to...

Saturday... I went back with my brother... was hoping to catch the Hamernick/Hulbert seminar but found out it got bumped up to 3pm slot... missed it... Got a chance to meet some more people like AWH, Hamernick, and Sennett... Booked a trip on Oct 14th (FULL MOON BABY!!!) with Steve Jonesi on Mille Lacs... cant wait for that... Chatted with Hulbert some more...

Im pretty much worn out from all that excitement for 2 days in a row... Definitely wont miss next year's Expo...

I picked up four 12" believers (50% off), 8ft rod, JustBigMuskies V4, h2o rubbertail, swap meet items and the best part of the show for me was when a guy came into the booth and called Joe of Trueglide, ..." Muskie Snacks". Joe finally convinced him they were not one in the same. Priceless! Duff

2 lures from Lee Tauchen - After reading about everyone's haul, there are 2 things:
1. the fish better be getting nervous
2. muskie nuts like us keep the economy going.
