Canada near Red Lake in spring and really want to do a LOTW trip on the North side sometime. My buddy and I go to Vermillion once every 3-4 years and it is about time so maybe there as well.

March 20-24: Cave Run - spring break (Nothing like chasing fat girls on spring break!)
June 21-27: Canada - Crow Lake, LOTW (Sabaskong/Stvns. Bay)
July 19-26: Vermilion for the outing
Late August: Probably a 3-day weekend up by P.I. and surrounding lakes.
October: Hopefully the P.I. outing if everything works out.

These are just the "big" trips. If I don't find a job and live up north this summer, there will be plenty of weekend camping trips up in Vilas/Oneida/Price. (If anyone knows of any jobs, please let me know...I'd be very interested!)
Also, probably a 4 or 5 day camping trip on Mille Lacs again this year.

Thanks for bringing up the topic...now I'm thinking about fishing even more than I was!!! It really is nice to see where other people are going to be fishing and when they'll be there. Gives you a chance to see if you can meet up with some of the people on here or ask them for reports if they were there right before you.
Good luck to all in 2008...for now, it's time to paint some baits...

Hey TECK,

Call Billy Sandy - Sandy's Blackhawk Island. I won't stay anywhere else on LOTW. Just a hop, skip and a pelican poop rock away from Young's.

Petawawa River (Ontario) in October, from a kayak, will be my new adventure. Other than that, the usual suspects. Cave Run in March, Leech in late August, Georgian Bay and Lake Nippising in September/October.

Even though I am blessed to be able to guide in my little piece of heaven for 80 days a year I still like to go out and try new areas. Nothing big planned for me so far this year, I'm sure I'll make quite a few trips to Lake X.

Oh yes our season does start on June 20th here on the Ottawa and I'm sure the Larry is the same.
