Posts: 5874 | 6th Annual Milwauke Muskie Expo Swap Meet and Social! Staurday, Feb 9th, 7-10?PM. Underwood Room, Best Western Midwy Motel, 1005 S Moorland Road, Brookfield, WI, 53005. Come and bring your baits, rods, reels, girlfriends, thirst. This year, we will again be in the Underwood Room, down the hall and around the corner from Cali's. There will be tables and chairs for the swap, and a cash bar for the social. Cali's has live entertainment, so we can adjourn to there, or the swimming pool area. Course, Norm will probably get us kicked out of there at 11:30 again!. There will be a New Fig Rig Rod as a door prize drawing. See you there!

Posts: 661 Location: Roscoe IL | Great, the plan was to sell a slew of lures I just don't use anymore & hopefuly make some extra cash for the gas savings fund. Now Gerry will be there & I know I will spend spend spend! You might as well make me up a Black & Flame with the thin blades this time. Those .040 thick blades generate quite the drag after awhile. Last year I almost got kicked out too! Smart @ss bouncer wanted (Demanded) cash for the band whom I thought didn't deserve a penny for the junk they were playing. I decided to cough it up after he was about to pick me up & remove me from the bar. Hope the band is better this year! Looking forward to this one! Mike

Posts: 3240 Location: Racine, Wi | I should be there as well trading the baits that I bring with Norm. And in some cases just out right claiming his baits as mine. Looking forward to it. I hear ya Joe, I'm a bait collector as well, but this year papa needs some new sticks so I'm going to have to part with some.

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I will be there. I have a simple plan, attend the swap, sell Joel's baits and claim a cut. I will then head to the pool area and drink Shep's beer until we are kicked out because we are too loud. I will then use the money I "earned" from Joel to head to the bar! I will have to dig through some boxes....maybe Joel can sell some of mine too.

Posts: 880 Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | Can't wait..... I should be there to buy more baits and to show Captain Dan how to get into the bar and avoid the cover charge. Last year I found some productive lures and bought the double cowgirl from Jerry witch I lost 2 50"rs. I don't remember who sold me the 3 suicks but all of them caught fish. You can bet I'll be looking for him to have a couple of new colors this year to add to the arsenal. How about Mama's for pizza, we need bigger tables to hold a larger group. Last year I walked in a little late and the place was jammed to the gills. Bruce

Posts: 5874 | Looking forward to seeing you there, Jim. GB bite was so-so for me this year. I was so burned out from tourneys this year, I only got up there 6 times. First time out got 4, then singles, and a couple blanks for me. Just started to working out the mouth/Kidney Island bite, and then deer hunting came along, and I put the boat up early. Mark, hope you are succesful in dragging those two over to the swap. Maybe Jackley will attend this year. I think that would be his first! You think Jennell will let go of him for one night? hehehe

Posts: 101 | Hey guys, I wanted to check this out last year, but the guy driving didn't want to stay. Well, he just called and cancelled going to the show this year, so I would love to check this out this year. How far is the hotel from the fairgrounds? Is there a cost to get in? Never been to an event like this before, but looking forward to it! BTW, I think the guy I normally fish with is going to start bluegill fishing, he seems more interested in them these days. I don't know about you guys, but I started thinking about musky fishing this year on Dec 1 2007!! ~Dawg

Posts: 880 Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | Joe, Your not kidding about getting there early. It took me 15 minutes to find a parking spot walked in and there was a line of people 20 deep waiting to eat. I looked in and saw all the guy's eating that butter dripping garlic bread and turned around and went to Charcoal Grill. Talk about desert let down.....not this year! Bruce

Posts: 880 Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | Shep, I'll see if GE will give me a loaner. Extreme One will be a no-show again, he does go to the swap meet with some great baits, I think his system can't handle the butter-lard-dripping-garlic-bread. Bruce

Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | Count a few college kids in with mix. I'll be there, Merckid will also tag along and for sure two girls that enjoy the outdoors. My dad will also likely attend with us. Count us in for the Swap as well and probably Mama Mia's. Cant beat the garlic bread, although I think their lasagne is better than there pizza, but thats just me. See you guys there.
