They're on the way. "Widowmaker". That's what they told my Dad a few years ago. He had the surgery(quad) and today (17th) he's celebrating his 65th birthday. Hang in there man. Steve |

Location: Land of the Musky | Chuck, Prayers are with you man. My wife and I went though this about 7 years ago with her dad and he came though it. He was just up to see my wife and 2 kids last week and it is still a good site to see him running around with my kids. You will have the same joy when your dad gets out and is feeling much better. Doctors/technology today are 10x better than in years past for these situations. Good luck! |

| Had the same surgery in '98. It was a beating to go thru and took a full year to feel half-way normal again but it's been almost 10 years and I'm still kicking. Much better than the alternative.
I'll pray extra hard for Dad. |
