Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | I think if you would have asked me a few months ago I would have said a manta, but with my recent success with a Topraider I'd have to go with that. Its great all season long.

Dupont Spinner aka: 1/4 stick of dynamite. LOL Sometimes makes release a little more difficult though.

Posts: 189 Location: Hoboken, NJ / North Webster, IN | I would need some clarification in that....if you ask me for one lure for strictly catching the most fish I'd choose one thing(probably kickin minnow, bulldog or bucktail)....but if it was truly my choice based on enjoyment for the year.... PACEMAKER every time. A blast to fish, produces decenlty well.

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | For my typical style of fishing, I would probably pick a single blade Rad Dog spinnerbait. Probably black/flame. If I had to pick one bait that could fish nearly all year, any depth, fast or slow, I would probably pick something like an 8" Jake. Can be twitched just under the surface, ripped, cranked, or trolled. Medium sized bait that would produce all year long. Lots of guys would probably substitute a Dawg for that, but you couldn't speed troll with it as easily. Also, good luck with a soft plastic lasting for one year if you really only got ONE of them. curleytail

Posts: 4266 | 10" Perka-Sucker flavored. Go big or stay home. Work it high, just sub-surface, or left it wobble on down a few feet. I'd fish it, because as little as I get to fish, I'm going to target big fish. Beaver
