You think Steve Worrall's scavenger hunts are hard? HA, wait til you try to figure Slamr's Impossible Trivia Contest II out. Okuma and Professional Edge Rods have challenged me personally to come up with a contest so hard that even the smartest of muskie fishermen can't possibly figure out and below is what you are now set to attempt to tackle!

There are ONLY SEVEN measley paragraphs filled with trivia from history, sports, music, movies and the like....now you have to figure out the right answers to the words that AREN'T there. It's basically fill in the blanks....how hard can that be?
Only seven paragraphs you will see below, but yeah, there's 294 blanks to fill in!!! Like I said, it's basically impossible. BUT, you don't need to fill in ALL the blanks to win, because realistically no one will be able to....at least I don't think no one human can. There will be TWO winners to this contest: the grand prize winner is he/she that figures out the LAST blank, and the second prize goes to the person who fills in the MOST blanks.

Here is an EXAMPLE of what you will need to do:

EXAMPLE PHRASE WITH BLANKS
In the movie The __1__ __2__ __3__, __4__ instructs Luke __5__ on his path to becoming a __6__.

is really.....

In the movie Empire (1) Strikes (2) Back (3), Yoda (4) instructs Luke Skywalker (5) on his path to becomind a Jedi (7).

Pretty easy, eh?

Please post your answers/guesses to the blanks by COPYING AND PASTING the answers with blanks filled in, with (#) next to what you have filled in, so I can easily see what you are answering.

Remember, first place is the person that fills in the LAST blank, and second prize is to the person who fills in the MOST blanks. First prize will be a new Induron IDX-400A (or lefty if need be) from Okuma Fishing http://www.okumafishing.com and second prize is a three pack of Krook topwater baits from Professional Edge http://www.proedgefishing.com/

Below are the phrases with blanks....GOOD LUCK!!!!

1. The earliest song (Seilers) on the top American (Seilers) Film (Seilers) Institute (Seilers) 100 songs (Seilers) was “Isnt (k-bob) it romantic (k-bob)” from “Love (Seilers) me Tonight (Seilers).” In the movie “Moonstruck (k-bob),” Loretta’s Uncle (Seilers) Raymond (Seilers) is singing that song in his deli (Seilers), the night after “Cosmo's (Seilers) Moon (demolishedyou)” wakes him up, and he makes love (K-bob) to his wife (k-bob). Moonstruck (rpike) was nominated (K-bob) for 6 academy awards, and walked away with the Oscar (K-bob) for Best Actress (k-bob) in a Leading (K-bob) Role (k-bob) (Cher), Best Actress (rpike) in a Supporting (rpike) Role (Olympia Dukakis (k-bob)), and Best Writing (Seilers), Best (rpike) Screenplay (Seilers) Directly for the Screen (rpike) (John Patrick (K-bob) Shanley (K-bob)). In the list of Top 100 Heroes (rpike) and Villians (rpike), Addicus (rpike) Finch (played by Gregory (rpike) Peck (rpike) in To (rpike) Kill (rpike) a Mockingbird) is the number one hero, while Dr. Hanibal (rpike) Lecter (rpike) is the number one villian (rpike). In that list there are 17 (Seilers) real heroes, while only 5 (Medford Fisher) real villians (rpike).

2. The movie “300,” (Medford Fisher) originally was a Graphic (Medford Fisher) Novel (Medford Fisher) by Frank (Medford Fisher) Miller, tells the story of King (Medford Fisher) Leonidis (Medford Fisher), played by Gerald (Medford Fisher) Butler (Medford) who was the Spartan (Medford Fisher) king who lead 300 (Medford Fisher) men to stay behind at Thermopylae (Seilers) to fight the Persian (Medford Fisher) King Xerses’s (Medford Fisher) army. The test of manhood for a Spartan (Seilers) male consisted of Kyrpteia (Seilers), through which they proved their ability to lead by killing (Seilers) a Helot (Seilers), or Spartan (Seilers) slave, without getting caught (Seilers).

3. The history of serial killers (demolished you) has been long documented. There is Jack the Ripper (demolished) made famous for killing countless prostitutes (rpike) in London (rpike) and never having been caught (rpike). Henry Herman (Seilers) Holmes (Seilers) was introduced to us through “Devil (Seilers) in the White (Seilers) City (Seilers),” which juxtaposed his untold number of murders with the Columbian (Seilers) Exposition (Seilers) of 1893 (Seilers). And then there’s the most famous Milwaukee based serial killer, Jeffrey (rpike) Dahmer (rpike). From Wisconsin there is also Ed Gein, of Plainfield (NWild), Wisconsin. The story of his life—and his practice of using body (NWild) parts for decoration (Seilers)—was made into the movie, “In the Light (rpike) of the Moon (rpike),” though it was called just “Ed (rpike) Gein (rpike)” for American audiences. But for every household name, there are others, such as Carl Panzam (Seilers), who after being sentenced to death (Seilers) over crushing another inmate’s skull (Seilers) in Leavenworth (Seilers) on June 20 (demolishedyou), 1929 (demolishedyou), uttered these famous last (Norm) words:
“Hurry (Seilers) it up you bastar** (Seilers). I could hang (Seilers) a dozen (Seilers) men while you’re fooling (Seilers) around.”

4.Air (rpike) combat has evolved in the last 100+ years, but to be considered an “ace” (rpike), one must down at least five (rpike) enemies. The term first gained popularity in World (rpike) War (rpike) One (rpike), when a French (NWild) newspaper described Adolphe Pegoud (NWild) as one for his accomplishments. Manfred (Nwild) Von (rpike) Richtofen is believed to be the leading ace in World (rpike) War (rpike) I. A study conducted by English (Seilers) historian Norman (Seilers) Franks (Seilers) with two colleagues, published in Under (Seilers) the (Seilers) Guns (Seilers) of the Red Baron (rpike) in 1998, concluded that at least 73 (Seilers) of Richthofen's claimed kills (rpike) were accurate. During World (rpike) War (rpike) Two (rpike), another German, Erich “Bubi” (Seilers) Hartmann (Seilers) led all fighter (rpike) pilots with 352 (Seilers) kills. Hartmann (Seilers) flew most of his missions versus the Soviets (Seilers) on the Eastern (rpike) Front, was forced to crash (Seilers) land (Seilers) his damaged fighter (Seilers) 14 (Seilers) times, flew much of his career with the famous Jadgeschwender (Seilers) 52 (Seilers) unit and eventually surrendered to the US (Seilers) 90th Infantry (Seilers) Division (Seilers). Richard (Seilers) Bong (Seilers) was the leading U.S. ace (rpike) of World War Two (rpike) with 40 (NWild) kills, while fighting in the Pacific Theatre (rpike) versus the Japanese (rpike). This score set while flying a Lockheed (Seilers) P-38 (Seilers) surpassed the earlier American best, set in World (rpike) War (rpike) One by Eddie (rpike) Rickenbacher (rpike).

5. The word Scientology (rpike) literally means "the study (rpike) of truth." It comes from the Latin (rpike) word "scio" (Seilers) meaning "knowing (Seilers) in the fullest (Seilers) sense (Seilers) of the word" and the Greek (Seilers) word "logos" meaning "study (rpike) of (rpike)." The central practice of Scientology (Seilers) is "auditing" (Seilers) (from the Latin (Seilers) word audire (Seilers), "to listen" (Seilers)), which is a one-on-one communication with a trained Scientology (Medford Fisher) counselor or "auditor". Most auditing (Seilers) uses an e-meter (Seilers), a device that measures very small changes in electrical (Seilers) resistance (Seilers) through the human (Seilers) body (Seilers) when a person is holding onto tin (Seilers) cans (Seilers) and a small current (Seilers) is passed through them. Founded by L Ron (rpike) Hubbard (rpike), Scientology (rpike) now counts as members notables such as Tom (rpike) Cruise (rpike) and wife Katie (rpike) Holmes, John (rpike) Travolta, Jason (NWild) Lee, and Isaac (rpike) Hayes. Another religion with rising popularity is Kabbalah (Seilers), which is an aspect of Jewish (Seilers) mysticism.

6. Okuma (rpike) Fishing began as an OEM (NWild) around 22 (EsFishOX) years ago, building reels (rpike) for other manufacturers. They will soon be introducing a line up of __196__ rods (rpike), up to 8'6" (NWild) in length (telescoping). These will be featured under the EVX (NWild) series. Okuma (rpike) is committed to putting out quality products at affordable prices with the Induron (NWild) reel retailing at $119.99 (NWild), and the __203__ selling for around $__204__. On MuskieFIRST for information on Okuma (NWild), you can always drop a PM to Mark Rogers (NWild), who goes under the name of California (NWild) Muskie (NWild) on the board. Mark is a dedicated big bass (NWild) angler, but was able to land three (Seilers) muskies over 50” (rpike) while fishing Mille (NWild) Lacs (NWild) in 2006.

7. The NFL was first formed in 1920 as the American (demolishedyou) Professional (demo) Football Association (Medford Fisher), changing to the name National Football League in 1922 (Seilers). The original league President (medford fisher), Jim Thorpe (Medford Fisher) presided over a league of 11 teams. These teams were the Canton (DemolishedYou) Bulldogs, Celeveland (DemolishedYou)Tigers, Dayton Triangles (Demolishedyou), Akron Professionals, Rochester Jeffersons, Rock (demo) Island Independents (Demolishedyou), Muncie (Demolishedyou) Flyers, Decatur Stayles (Demolishedyou), Chicago Cardinals (Demolishedyou), and the Hammond Pros. Because of angered NFL owners, in particular the Chicago Cardinals (Seilers), the AFL (Demolishedyou) was first organized in July 1959 (Demolishedyou), with 8 teams. Those teams were the Boston (Demolishedyou) Patriots, Buffalo (Seilers) Bills (Seilers), Dallas Texans (Demolishedyou), Denver Broncos (Demolishedyou), Houston (Seilers) Oilers (Seilers), Los Angeles Chargers, New (Seilers) York (Seilers) Titans (Seilers), and Oakland (rpike) Raiders. The AFL lasted until Lamar (NWild) NWild (NWild) and Hank (rpike) Schramm completed the basic groundwork for a merger (rpike) of the two leagues by the end of May (Seilers), and on June (NWild) 8th, 1966 (NWild) the merger was officially announced. The most serious challenge to the NFL since it’s inception came from the USFL (Seilers), or United (Seilers) States Football (Seilers) League (Seilers). The USFL (Seilers) was the brainchild of David (Seilers) Dixon (Seilers), a New Orleans entrepreneur who in the 1960s envisioned football as a possible Spring (Seilers) and Summer (Seilers) sport. In the early 1980s, Dixon gathered a group of owners from 12 (Seilers) cities and announced the league's launch on May 11, 1082 (Seilers), to begin play in 1983. The inaugural game featured the Washington (Seilers) Federals (Seilers) versus the Chicago (Seilers) Blitz, played on March 6th (Seilers), 1983 (Seilers). However, the league was not the success that owners had envisioned and in February (Seilers) 1986, the USFL (Seilers) reduced the number of teams from 14 (Seilers) teams to 8 (Seilers) teams. Houston merged with New Jersey (Seilers), and Denver (Seilers) with Jacksonville (Seilers). San (seiler) Antonio, Oakland (Seilers), Los Angeles and Memphis (NWild) folded. The remaining teams were put into two new Divisions (Seliers), the Independence (Seilers) and Liberty (Seilers) divisions. On July (Seilers) 29th (Seilers), 1986 a Jury (Seilers) concluded that the NFL was in violation of the Sherman (Seilers) Anti (Seilers)-trust Act (Seilers) by conspiring to monopolize (Seilers) professional football, and that they did illegally damage the USFL (NWild). The jury awarded the USFL (NWild) $1 (Seilers) in damages. The league suspended play before the 1986 (Seilers) season. Notable owners included Donald (Seilers) Trump (Seilers), who ran the New Jersey (Seilers) Generals (Seilers), and a number of players such as Herschel (Seilers)Walker who was the leading rusher (Seilers) in the league’s history and Jim Kelly (Seilers) who threw the most touchdowns (ghoti) in the league’s short history.

You can answer as many times as you want to. I will ATTEMPT to keep up with all answers by telling you right or wrong, then filling in the answer on the original post. AND, if need be, will post an updated blanks vs. right answers sheet in the body of the thread of hopefully many responses.

As of 8:30PM Monday night, you only need ONE right answer to be the leader. Just one. Heck, there are 10 in there that you can get by me using the word later in the paragraph.

Hint: figure the answers out by CONTEXT. If you do not know what the word CONTEXT means....

Any chance you can break that post up to show JUST WHAT YOU ANSWERED?

Please post your answers/guesses to the blanks by COPYING AND PASTING the answers with blanks filled in, with (#) next to what you have filled in, so I can easily see what you are answering.

Between numbers 186 and 187 there is a blank without a number.
How are you going to pick a winner for most correct if everyone is posting there answers for everyone to see?

K-bob, on the blank one, that was supposed to be a number, so I just changed it to 186a.

For the "answers for everyone to see" question: I am filling in the blanks, with the name of the person who answered it in a (***name***)

The first person to respond with the right answer to a blank gets credit. I am going to try to be diligent on this one, but I do need to get up from the desk to do things such as eating and using the washroom.
